Topic: What are you reading?

I tend to have times where I read for half a year, and then lose interest and repeat. At the moment, its the Guiness Book 2009, just for laughs.

Reread Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and now I'm reading Deathly Hallows again. I'd forgotten how Holocaust-esque some of the Ministry's actions are.. having the Muggleborn register, pure-bloods being the "superior race" and not breeding with "undesirables," telling the public that Muggleborns were trying to bring down the pure-bloods and that they had "stolen" their magic.. hmn.

I'm reading Catcher in the Rye as fast as is possible, as my exam is tomorrow and I completely neglected to re-read it properly. I'm also going over the notes for my poems =[

Haha, I remember the wonderful speedreading of set texts before English exams.. I almost miss it. Almost P: I actually only read half of Frankenstein before my AS exam, which was.. probably a bad idea, but there y'go xD;

Seriously, there's that much junk to write about in that book that you don't NEED to read it all to sit an exam on it.

They've gone and changed A-level English now.. so you don't get the text IN the exam. You're supposed to learn it all D: I find that ridiculous.. very glad I sat it the year before that changed. Don't make it any more of a memory test than it already is! :c

As young as I am, it would be surprising to hear that I read that entire book on my own free will. For an independent novel project.

I finished reading Megan by Mary Hooper today. I got it today too, but it's a little small and I read it through Geography and R.E when we were watching films.

I can't wait for when the Megan 2 goes back into the library. It's really good, and curse the person that took Megan 2 out.

I'm reading a translation of "Murder Trials" by Cicero. I'm so prententious. It's really good though.. he has a fantastic talent for speaking that is noticeable even in the modern word.

I just finished Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer and was a bit disappointed with it =/

Now I can't decide what to read. Will probably either be Necropolis by Anthony Horowitz, Glass Houses by Rachel Caine, or Noughts & Crosses by Malorie Blackman. I have like 8 or more books that I haven't read yet =P
