Name: Damien Brook
Age: 14
Gender: Male
Description: Damien is an average 14-year old boy. He is average build and not overweight, in fact he is slightly underweight. He is 5ft 9" and growing. He isn't particularly strong but he makes up for that in his intelligence. His hair is just below his shoulders length most of the way around, over his face it is slightly shorter. It is bright red and very eye-catching in the sunlight. He wears the same black jacket every day but his t-shirt will never be the same 2 days in a row. He is quite fond of tie-dye in particular. He only ever wears jeans or combat trousers.
Personality: Damien is very witty and almost always has something to say on every topic. He comes across as slightly strange at first but once you get to know him he is a nice person to have around. His I.Q. is 145 but sometimes you would think it was 5 by the way he acts. He loves pokemon but they don't always love him back. If in trouble he will always stay calm, cool and collected... on the surface anyway. He is mainly by himself due to the fact that he finds it hard to make friends with people who can put up with his eccentricity. He lets his pokemon out so that he has somebody to talk to but it is usually at the most inconvenient times, usually late at night when he can't sleep. Mainly he just wants to have fun, because that is what he is all about, FUN!
History: Damien was born in the pokemon centre of Mahogany Town on the 29th of February 1993. He lived in a small house by the Lake of Rage for 2 years before his parents decided to move. They got a house in Saffron City so that they could still easily visit relatives by using the trains. But about 9 months later his father's job got relocated and he had to move to Lavaridge Town. He and his parents lived there happily for about 21 months before his mother gave birth to his little sister, Clara.
With the new arrival it meant that the house was too small for the family and so they moved to Fortree City because the mother thought it would be good for them to go somewhere with clean air rather than the ash filled air of Lavaridge. Damien and his family lived there happily for 5 years. Damien learnt many things from the gym leader of the town and loved flying on the gym trainers pokemon. As he was nearing his 10th birthday, he couldn't wait to be taken by his dad to the professors lab in Littleroot Town.
When the time came for him to leave he said his goodbyes and flew to Littleroot Town on the back of his dad's Pidgeot. He got to the lab and found to his surprise that the professor was on an expedition in the Sevii Islands and wouldn't be back for weeks. So his dad gave him money and lent him his Pidgeot and told him to go on the ferry to Kanto, there he could fly to Pallet Town and speak with Professor Oak and get his starter. After that he was to send the Pidgeot back with a message of what he got and how he was doing.
So he went on this journey exactly as planned and arrived in Pallet Town the very next day. He sent a message back saying that he was going on an adventure and that he would return someday. He then went to the lab. Professor Oak told him that he had many pokemon to choose from. He went out into the massive garden and went to the area that said starters. He walked through the garden and saw many pokemon. Scythers and Zubats and Squirtles... but he couldn't decide. Just as he was about to force himself to pick one a small Dratini wrapped itself around his leg. He looked and saw that it was being bullied so he scared away the other pokemon. Then he looked at the Dratini and knew that it was fate. He decided to take her. He called her Ami.
From then on he wandered through Kanto, fighting all the trainers he met but not once considering taking up the Elite Four Challenge. He is now 14 and still has no badges. He and Ami are the best of friends and he has caught 2 other pokemon, a Butterfree called Cho and a Growlithe called Kin.

Ami- Friend in Japanese (Dratini)
Gender: Female
Moves: Wrap, Leer, Thunder Wave, Twister, Dragon Rage, Slam, Agility, Aqua Tail
Ability: Shed Skin
History: Starter Pokemon, given to him by Professor Oak.
Personality: Very gentle and loving. Usually quiet. Listens to everything Damien says and does what she's asked every the time. Likes to play, especially hide and seek. She trusts Damien completely.
Cho-Butterfly in Japanese (Butterfree)
Gender: Female
Moves: Tackle, Confusion, Poison Powder, Stun Spore, Sleep Powder, Gust, Supersonic, Whirlwind, Psybeam, Silver Wind
Ability: Compoundeyes
History: Caught in Viridian Forest as a Caterpie. She just crawled up to him and nudged him, almost like she wanted to be caught. Evolved once when she was battling a trainers Venonat and again when she was battling a wild Zubat.
Personality: Enthusiastic about everything and a definite optimist. She always goes ahead of everyone. Due to her enthusiasm she doesn't listen to Damien as often as she should and mainly makes her own decisions, but when it comes to the big decisions she gets confused and lets Damien decide. She likes playing hide and seek with Ami.
Kin-Golden in Japanese (Growlithe)
(In the sunlight his fur shines gold, making him look like a shiny)
Gender: Male
Moves: Bite, Roar, Ember, Leer, Odor Sleuth, Helping Hand, Flame Wheel, Reversal, Fire Fang
Ability: Flash Fire
History: Caught just outside of Celeadon City. Put up a good fight but was caught in the end.
Personality: Very headstrong and confident. He dislikes being the only male pokemon in the group. He is always trying to become stronger. He is always the unenthusiastic pessimist and is usually the one dragging behind the group. He doesn't listen to Damien very much but he does like him, he just doesn't want to show any weakness.
