If you go by the GBA game, Emerald, the battle Pyramid's leader King Brandon uses all the Regi's as well as the original Legendary Birds.  And the episode that was aired in America was pretty decent.  The only thing is all the voice actors were horrible, except I LOVED May's new voice!!!  The plot was pretty good also.
