I only have a few days to finish putting together my team. I've dabbled in competitive battling on Showdown in the past, but haven't made a 6th gen team yet, so I'd like some guidance this time. I don't care about tiers, since this is just for a battle between me and my friend.

It should also be noted that I'm breeding everything myself, so legendaries are pretty much out. Also some items won't be available either.

What I have so far:

I tend to like sweepers, but I want to make sure I don't overdo it. (I mean I already have two, whoops.) And there are some sets that I would like to reuse, but can't because of version-exclusive attacks and such.

I'm also leaning towards Amoonguss as a wall, or maybe Forretress for hazards.

I really loved gen 3.

Easy for me. Mightyena. Companion and guardian. Also it's my favorite pokemon, and my soul pokemon.

Though Quagsire is very tempting. I could just cuddle one all day. <3

All the movies I've seen have been, to me, beyond great, and the only one I haven't is Mew and the Wave Guiding Hero. And though it's a difficult decision, I chose Pokemon 2000: The Power of One.

The Power of One really struck me as touching. Not only does it prove that a simpel person can choose their own destiny, which is a lifelong lesson in itself, but it also teaches that living things shouldn't be trapped and abused, and that they should be treated with kindness and respect. More than either of those, though, it proves that everything you or anything does, has an effect on everything else in some way, shape or form. It can simply change an opinion, or really strike someone as amazing and give them an idea which creates a revolution. I suppose it really depends on perspective.
