Infernape - While Blaziken may be the posterboy of the fire group, it's not always been the case. I was a massive fan of R/B/S and a huge fan of fire types... imagine my dissmay when finding out that my beloved Blaziken was slower than a boiled potato in a triathalon. While this was corrected in later generations, I can't forget the betrayal!! It doesn't hurt that Infernape has good speed, good attack & looks a little like Super Saiyan 4 Goku. My monkey wears a fur waistcoat now, fur waistcoats are cool!

I would like to ammend my answer... I now HATE Blaziken! I'm 13/12 on Rating Battles & at least 4 of my losses are caused by Blazikens.

Heh, I suppose - I've never been a fan of tanks myself... especially tanks that look like the worms from Mr Men books.

Physically, I quite like the idea of Shuckle getting bladed tentacles & "shoulder" blades nect to where the head pops up.

My least favourite thing about X & Y is that they went to the trouble of recording a new cry for Pikachu... but then left a lot of other fan favourites with their old 8-bit screeches. I'd have loved it if my Alakazam (personal favourite 'mon) bellowed his name out before slapping my opponent's upside their heads.

Well if I could only have 2 pokémon, one would be a Ditto & the other would be Charmander. The great thing about Ditto is that I can use it to breed myself an egg from anyone elses pokémon. Of course I'd have to name him Playa-playa.

I'm with Scout & Zubatman, Gallade is too awesome looking to NOT be that useful... it desperately needs a mega-evolution with a built in speed boost. Personally I'd like it to get even more Power Ranger/Sentai styling when it evolves.

Wow, first time I've seen someone else using this build! The only differance is that I'm using Electro Web... think I'll use your Discharge instead.

I've only given the Maison a couple of goes & my record is only 48, but props to all you guys that are 50+ (can't wait to get my gold trainer card).

Kyurem didn't do anything in B/W that I can remember. Just kinda sat in an icy cave. Giratina literally did nothing in D/P, it was just in a weird maze cave. Rayquaza just sat in a tower in R/S. Suicune just ran around G/S. Pikachu sat in a forest and power plant before Yellow.

If I remember correctly, Kyurem is mentioned a few times in relation to Reshiram & Zekrom, it also gets it's own mentions in the story. Giratina pops later on in Black & White once you've captured Reshiram/Zekrom, plus he has an entire dimension to himself. Rayqauza I believe is mentioned to have stopped the fighting between Kyogre & Groudon BEFORE you actually catch him (you get the see it happen in Emerald of course). Pikachu only ever got the starring role in Yellow because of a certain animé. Zygarde however is completely absent from the game up until appearing in the mines, I wouldn't have known he existed if I didn't watch YouTube.

As for Suicune, he seems to be the one bit of evidence that there doesn't have to be a trio for there to be a third game. It's quite possible Xerneas & Yveltal are a duo (the Mortality Duo as stated by Wiki) and that Zygarde is not the third member.
