5 days till XY, 5 gens to play.

Okay, title is slightly wrong... But Ill explain... After a conversation with Nate on Skype, we came up with the idea of playing a game from each generation over this week, up until Saturday, when gen VI is released!

So, we wanted to get as many pkmn members playing the games as we can over this week. The rules were using are simple:
-> 1 game a day. If you finish, you can't start the next.
-> If you don't finish, you can't carry on till the next day, you've just sort of 'got to where you got'
-> You don't need to do generators in order.

So, is anyone else joining us? Granted, we'll likely fail, but it gets our minds off of gen VI's close, but ages away, release!

This obviously starts on Monday xD

Question: Do the remakes count as their original gen or part of the gen they were remade? Because the GB/GBC game batteries usually have died by now.

You can use either or, really. Me and Dick will be going with the originals, but it doesn't really matter.

They can do, Nate and I are using the originals! but it doesn't really matter if you're wanting to do it as well and can only get on the remakes. After all, they're essentially the same game.

I started with charmander and mannaged to beat Brock on my first time. I think I'll take that as an achievment. I remember spending ages grinding before Brock as a kid with my charmander but coming back to it and taking him down so easily is pretty neat.

Awesome! I've been doing Diamond today (was going to do them in reverse order, but I can't get on white today, so I'll do it in sort of reverse order xD) and realised what an idiot Jupiter is in the wind works xD

Edit: Although I didn't finish, I did get to Hearthome gym (5), so I guess I didn't do terrible!

Started a half finished play through of crystal, still completely stuck on Whitney and her Miltank. Ah well, I guess that's one gym that doesn't get easier.

But, I'm on white today (I found it!!!). Chose Tepig, and I'm up to gym 2
