Suggestion: 'Ask me anything' board

I think we should have one part of the forums where the ones who reply to you can ask you any question. It would help if you are a new member as it would be a good way to meet new friends and let other members get to know you. Of course, no questions too personal would be allowed, but most other subjects are acceptable.

This is just a suggestion I thought up and i think it would be a good addition for people who have just registered.

Sounds good, imo, but I'd say it sounds more like a topic than a board, maybe?possibly a child board in Forum Games/Role Play/Random Randomness

There's my point, but with an Ask Me Anything board, at least you know who you're asking and you can get to know them better.

A forum game really isn't the same as an ask me anything topic.

Again, I'm not convinced that it would work here well enough. To create a forum like it, we want to see a continued interest in the subject of the forum, through several topics.

At this point, there is not a single topic like it, let alone a group that have been going for longer.

Prove to us that it's worth adding another forum to the long list we've already got.

Didn't we do this before in the form of interviews on RR and it just kind of became a fad and then died?

I'm guessing the idea comes from AMAs from Reddit though, doesn't really make much sense to do them if we don't have anything really to ask about. I mean, I can't think what I'd ask of someone else and I can't see anyone being interested in asking me anything.

This sounds like the best idea in this thread. An ask me anything board would get extremely spam-heavy, with people asking things like "what is your favorite color?" and irrelevant questions, but there are members on here I'd like to get to know better than I do, and that would be a nice way to do so, if they decided to participate.
