Mispronounced Pokémon

I know this forum hasn't been answered for a while but, I do need some help! I'm making an animation, and caterpie makes a short cameo appearance, how do you pronounce it? Is it Cat-er-pee or Cat-er-pie? I also noticed the "Rayquaza" confusion in this forum. Someone asked how it was pronounced. I think it's pronounced Ray-kway-zar

Definitely cat-er-pee and I'm pretty sure you've got Rayquaza right, although I will never pronounce it like that

"Ok! Mightyenas have sharp teeth and claw! Ah but we have something they don't! We've got the element of surprise!" (picks up a caterpie) "They'll never expect a Caterpie to attack them... because it would be killed in an instant! Ok! Forget surprise!"

Does anyone know how to pronounce Deoxys? I think it's Dee-ox-ease, but I guarantee you, 90%, I screwed up the pronunciation there!

I believe that is actually Dee-ox-iss, I've never heard anyone pronounce it -ease.

The Nidoran family always confused me. I keep wanting to say Nido as "Nigh-do" instead of "Nee-do." "Nigh-do" just makes so much more sense to me.
