So I decided not to go out tonight and stay in with my housemates who I haven't seen really much lately cos of my social life (which involves hanging out and drinking with people I'm only sort of friends with to make myself feel better about feeling like everyone else hates me) and when I announced that I was staying in they were all joking about how they were having loads of fun without me on the nights I haven't been there and pretending to be disappointed and stuff. There's just something about the way they said it though that makes me feel like they weren't really joking?

How long will it take for me to just find a group of friends who I love who don't just end up going off me. Why am I so insecure about friendships. All I want is friends in comfortable with, I don't even want a best friend I just want friends. Why is this so difficult??????
