why are they bringing the anime into the games

i was trying to forget about ash greninja in the anime because that's bad enough but now gf has to plague (!) the Actual Games with this dumb frog humans wretched existence

i guess bc the target audience of pokemon these days is still like 12 year olds and chuuni which is probably why ash greninja exists in the first place. the anime isnt bad, the whole ash greninja arc is probably the absolute worst thing thats ever come out of it... at least recently? i was hoping theyll kill it dead with the SuMo anime though the fact its in the demo pretty much proves itll live on. christ.

Silvally here evolves from Type: Null! It's Normal and it's ability is RKS System (your guess is as good as mine here folks). In fact, it changes type while holding items - very similar to Arceus and the plates! It has a signature move called Multi Attack, and it matches whatever type Silvally currently is.



Jangmo-o evolves into Hakamo-o! Dragon/Fighting with the abilities Bulletproof or Soundproof! Hakamo-o then evolves into Kommo-o! Dragon/Fighting with the same abilities. Kommo-o comes with a unique move, Clanging Scales!



Bounsweet evolves into Steenee! Grass type with the abilities Leaf Guard or Oblivious! Steene then evolves into Tsareena! Grass, abilities Leaf Guard and Queenly Majesty! Queenly Majesty seems to make some moves not work (unclear which moves at the moment!) and it has the unique move Trop Kick.



Cutiefly evolves into Ribombee! Bug/Fairy with the abilities Honey Gather and Shield Dust!


OH HECK, Grimer and Muk have Alola forms!


We're introduced to two new trainers (A Trial Captain and an Island Kahuna?? Whatever that is). Still no Gym reveals, so we might not see any.

[spoiler]i hate Epic Ninja Frogge being your only pokemon cos oh boy the rants about greninja i posted elsewhere. i hate greninja so much and totes have an ironic conspiracy theory that they nerfed delphox's design cos the pokemon people dont know what girls are and hate the idea of Femininity being anywhere else other than a sideline in the game.

but on the plus side i REALLY appreciate the stat up/down screen cos i can never remember who or what is at what increase/decrease hardly ever

i am also going to have to take a Tumblr Sabbatical probably because apparently there was a lot of datamining and New Pokemon were found and you know what tumblr is like with spoiler decency
