Anyway I've been watching Darvos on DVD.
Which one? I watched Peter Davidson's encounter with him recently.

Watching Mr Davidson's last adventure as the Doctor right now. XD

Well, as long as it wasn't Sylverster McCoy's meeting with Davros (LIE). Actually McCoy didn't really get a fair shot at being the Doctor.. his characterisation was good BUT the quality of the scripts had declined (Burtie Bassett liqourice monster anyone??).

The referance to the 'Doctor's song coming to an end' could be translated a lot of ways, if you look at his song as being his travels.. he could get locked into Earth again.. though I doubt it (no other Timelords to do it).

I got some future ep news. Silence in the Library's monster will be the Shadow. I think they were briefly mentioned in Love and Monsters. There is a rumour the Judoon will be this series' finale. Sarah Jane will be returning as The Sarah Jane adventures were the most popular kids' programme of 2007 and 5th of 21st Century. Martha Jones is returning for the finale(May not be true)

Oh, god I hope not. That show is an abomination and Sarah Jane herself is just an annoying woman who keeps coming back >.>

I don't think RTD realizes that she's just one of a long line of assistants- she isn't special enough to warrant her continued appearances on the show.

The Sontaran one was quite good. The nostalgia of Jon Pertwee's early shows with UNIT was clearly present. I was a little disappointed with the sat nav idea, though the Doctor's survival from the jeep was clever. I also liked how he gave away all the Sontaran secrets, i.e. how to kill them etc, though I expect with the helmets off those potato heads, which was a quote my friend guessed would be mentioned, would be pretty prone to bullets. What is this gun-jamming technology they have? Now they kinda ruined a battle sequence, unless UNIT pikey their laser guns.

I guess it was lucky that there was a racket and ball lying around for him the get past the Sontaran with. o.O'

It was a good episode, and a nice return for Martha. Interesting though in how she was linked to Unit, as a Doctor. Seems like some lack of relation...and slighty...un-Martha like. =p

Thats nothing! You should watch Destiny of the Daleks and see how Tom Baker defeats a Dalek with a Hat! A HAT!

Didnt see this week's ep yesterday thanks to the brat, so I saw it today. Veeeeeery interesting. Sontarans were pretty good. Love the whole weakness thing explaining why they face their enemies head on. Quite the dark opening and Cliffhanger (Cars that kill people by gassing them? Didnt think that was allowed). The Sontaran war dance was not bad, kinda reminded me of the Newzeland Rugby Dance thingy.

Looking forward to next week. :)
