Indeed. I must say, that was a very good episode, as the two-parters normally are. Great acting on all parts, and the story fitted together really well.

Anyone else see Rose on the screen? It was only for a second.

The next episode looks really interesting, and I'll be looking foreward to seeing it, certainly. I just hope they come up with a good reason for The Doctor having a daughter. I hate seeing things that are done badly, but effect Doctor Who in general, not just that series. Maybe she's not even his daughter... =p

You re right, it looks more like an Ood in a Rose Wig. :P

Not bad this week. Hope they bring back the Sotarans in the near future.

Next week seems a hit or miss. I expect a good explanation for the daughter or I ain't buying it...

The doctor's granddaughter was the first assistant ever, so for him to have a granddaughter, he had to have a daughter/son...

Anyway, he told Rose he was a father back in series 1 or 2 iirc.

Nice episode. I've seen better, but I've seen worse.

She was created from his DNA or something. It was mentioned in an interview I think, and it's on the Wikipedia page for the episode.

'The Poison Sky' was easily one of the most epic episodes yet. I loved it, especially Skorr's death. Loved 'The Empty Child' gasmask reference, and the Doctor's mention of the Brigadeer. :'3 Aw. He's still alive and kicking after all! "He's in Peru."

Loved 'The Empty Child' gasmask reference

Agreed, probably the funniest moment I've seen on Dr Who in a long time.

Must be the first time they've referenced a new series episode for humor in such a way, as opposed to the old series. The Valiant returning was also nice to see, since it changes it from a single episode plot-device to something actually within the continuity.

Wasn't surprised, remember the 2012 olympic episode?(sorry cant remember the name but it was in the 2nd series) There was a line where rose said something like kids are so annoying(something like that). And the doctor said: I was a father once. Rose wanted to ask more about it but then he disapeared and dropped that device thingy

It's not the fact he has a daughter that shocked me (I knew about his granddaughter and everything) but. If you think about it. The docter is 1/2 timelord 1/2 human. So if she is his biological daughter she is at least 1/4 timelord or 3/4 at most. And she must have considerable technology to pull the tardis into flight. Like when the Darleks used the transmat to pull them out of the tardis. The only other time the tardis has been "pulled" into flight in the last 4 series was with the heuon particles. All the other times it was teleported. Finally. Seeing as she hasn't been in a single episode I don't think, the only way that he would be able to recognise her would be the timelord recognision thing unless he's kept contact with her before but that would mean he thought she died.
