                           Chapter 1: The Great Forest Fire

"Hey, Lunatic the Lunatone." said Sunny the Solrock.
"What is it?" said Lunatic.
"I found these two weird looking stones, do you have any idea what they are." said Sunny.
"There probably just regular stones, let me see." said Lunatic.
The stones gleamed and something strange happened!
"Waaaaaaaaaahhh!" cried Lunatic.
"Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh!" cried Sunny.
...And the forest exploded.
The two explorers have been reported missing many days later.
At night everyone was asleep...however, a riolu got up to go to the bathroom...On his way he passed his window. He thought he saw something and he looked out the window and he saw that the whole village was burning. He woke everyone up and suggested that they must evacuate the village. The fire had spread and the pokemon were trapped. The riolu said," I need all the flying-type pokemon to come over here." They came over and discussed a plan. Until a Swellow said," Every non-flying pokemon must get on our backs so we can safely fly away." So it was done. The villagers took refuge in a cave, and to stop the fire from entering the cave the riolu used strength to push a boulder to seal the cave shut. An archeologist pokemon named Jackpot the Kricketune said to the riolu," This cave used to be a coal mine before, but some pokemon say that a curse pillaged this land long ago. "The curse has returned!" said a pokemon. "Wait! Did you just say that this cave used to be a coal mine?!" "Yes, but why does it concern you so much?" said Jackpot. "The boulder sealing this cave is made of coal! The fire will burn through and become even larger!" "Don't worry, we have it under control!" said a group of water pokemon. "Uh, I hope so..." The fire entered the cave and the water pokemon used water gun, but the fire was too strong! "Let's run that way!" said the riolu. They ran and ran and ran. However, their path was blocked by a huge pile of rocks and the fire was getting closer...

"We're not gonna make it!" said the riolu.
"Haaahhhhhhh, ANCIENT POWER!!!" Roared Jackpot.
Jackpot the golden Kricketune used Ancient Power and lifted the rocks.
Everyone moved on, but then the riolu spoke," Jackpot, aren't you coming?"
" I'll deal with the fire, you must go!" said Jackpot. " But..." mourned the riolu,"Go! You must go now! I can't let the fire spread any longer!" yelled Jackpot. So Riolu and the rest left without Jackpot. When they got out, Riolu screamed," We must save Jackpot!" A Swellow named Sentinel said," We must leave!" Riolu said," But Jackpot could be dying back there!" " Remember Jackpot for the good pokemon he is,...was...as he did not die in vain..." said Sentinel." I will remember him..., I will go!" said Riolu.
"The fire seemed to have subsuided, we are safe." said a Pidgeot named Pilot.
"Perhaps we can take refuge in this spot..." said Sentinel. "It seems very well hidden among these bushes." said a Noctowl named Nocturnus. However, regardless of the safety, Riolu's eyes were wet with tears...
