and it's even worse when you make it obvious/people just know.

that's not a dig at you...more at myself. due to the fact i pretty much set off an alarm when my gd dog was leaving the room and i very clearly/pitifully said 'no don't leave!' while my mother was in the hall. somehow i feel she pities me now. that makes it worse. huh.
what can i say... i appreciated the company of another being.

not like i do anything to sort it, mind you. i enjoy being a recluse, but i guess it's only a matter of time before the longing for some company other than your own thoughts makes everything feel so empty.

and it never helps when people you know on like... msn and stuff are all 'hey i'll talk to you' because there's a difference between typing it all out and actually saying it to someone who's in the same room as you.

why am i still typing this is stupid.

no, I concur.. in that there's a difference in being alone and being lonely, and one can slide into the other with no warning at all 
Or maybe for me just the balance between having someone there to cheer you up while not really wanting to talk or put too much social effort in because it's quite tiring.

well, at least I sound socially lazy instead of socially inept and whiny.

My friend is convinced that I like the girl he's liked for ages, but the thing is, were just rather friendly... ugh.... he's never gonna live this down, mainly because he thinks that she likes me too, so I just hope he dosent make a fool out of himself and that he dosent screw anything up between me and her...
