i used to live in spain for a number of years (hence holiday to go back to the area i lived in) and i've de-acclimatised so if i go during sometime like august i will die cos the heat and humidity was horrendous
not to mention the fact that some businesses close during the summer months cos it's too boiling hot lmao

for anyone curious yes siesta is still a big thing nearly most shops apart from the big ones and department stores shut for 2pm-5pm its literally like a ghost town its so weird
they then all reopen at 5 and stay open till like 8pm or 9pm

My little brother has two of his friends (both brothers) staying over. I have never hated kids any more that right now. The younger one is just so whiny and starts crying over nothing, the older one is better he goes off and does his own thing. They're all really hyper and they're just annoying the hell out of everyone. The brothers are sleeping on a bunk bed which is right on the other side of my bedroom wall and they keep jumping off it and clattering about. oh my god its quarter to 11 just shut up and go to sleep
I bet they'll be up at like 6 tomorrow  ugh

Just laid in bed for 5 hours only to get no sleep at all. It's too hot, there are bugs everywhere, my hayfeaver is making my ears, eyes and throat itch and burn and the ceiling fan only works when the lights are on. My room is the hottest in the whole house and there is no way to cool it down at all. I am exhausted and my body just won't cut me a break and let me fall asleep.

Why the hell do people -like- this weather? Hot weather is terrible, makes you sweat, smell and get tired but won't let you sleep and burns and murders your skin... Can't wait for winter again.
