Category: Main Characters
First Episode: Showdown at Pewter City
Japanese Voice Actor: Yuji Ueda
English Voice Actor: Eric Stuart, succeeded by Bill Rogers

Brock is one of Ashs first friends when he set off on his quest to become a Pokémon Master. Before Brock left to join Ash on his journey, he was part of the Pewter City Gym.

His specalism is Rock-type Pokemon. He also took care of many people in his family. This made him a very good cook, cleaner etc. This became very useful in the journeys of Ash, Misty and Brock. Because Brock is a gym leader, he knows a lot about the Pokémon championships.

Eventually in the Orange League Brock left to join a group of professors. These Professors didn't really know how to look after themselves so Brock decided to stay and look after them. A person called Tracy joined Ash for the Orange League saga. After Ash had got all the Orange League badges and he had finished he travelled back to Pallet Town where a party was being held for Ash. Surprisingly Brock was there. Tracy decided to stay with Professor Oak, so Brock came along again with Misty and Ash. Now, he still cooks and cleans and helps Ash and Misty a lot in the Johto Journeys.

Thats about it for Brock.

But of course! we can't forget Brock's love for the Officer Jennies and the Nurse Joys in the Pokémon world. He also jumps at any chance to get a girlfriend, in fact he does it a lot, in every episode actually! So there we have it, Brock, a wannabe pokemon breeder master kinda guy.
