My day at my placement today... I started at 9:30am and finished at 4:30pm, I was on the shop floor on my own for most of the day, stood up all day apart from the time it took for me to eat my sandwiches, and I spent the whole day putting stickers on 1199 collection bags (would have been 1200 but one of them was taken to be used), served customers, answered enquiries, accepted donations... everything apart from putting out stock because it was put out straight away rather than being left out for me to put away. I did almost everything I could possibly do in one day, all stood still so my feet are aching still and I'm exhausted. ;-;

Oh, and the scroll pad on my laptop has randomly stopped working. That thing makes my internet use so easy, but now it randomly stopped working and I need to make the effort to go to the right of the screen and pull my cursor down to scroll... such a pain. |:<   I can't be arsed to reset my laptop to get it to work again, either.

i'm getting my house roofed.

problem is that the roofers are slamming down the shingles or something (i have no idea how roofing really works) and damn, is it loud. i had to get up at 8:00 this morning because they also enjoy chatting very loudly RIGHT OUTSIDE MY WINDOW.

also the heat is really really getting to me. its cool today so far, but then again its only about 9:00. i think on tuesday it got to 98 degrees.. in the early morning. it was pretty brutal.

LOL I know what you mean, it's a bit like 'addicting' and 'addictive' so many people use the former that you begin to wonder if it isn't actually the grammatically correct one of the two.
