For three years I have organised the gas, electric, internet, water, council tax exemption, rent, TV licence and any problems that we have. Moving into this new place in August is the first time someone else has offered to sort it and already we have a threat from the dept collector for an unpaid electricity bill.
Why did I ever think I could trust my housemates? They're both so childish it infuriates me.

oh no, never mind that, because the one day of the week upon which I have been granted with an unexpected lie-in, there's a fire drill at twenty to seven in the godforsaken morning. 
the only reason that I'm not yet asleep again being that the last time an event of this kind happened [which was.. oh.. friday midnight], we had no sooner got back indoors than the blasted thing began to sound again.. all right, granted that was less fire drill and more somebody triggering the alarm for their own amusement, but still. 
I AM SUSPICIOUS OF THE CURRENT SILENCE. 
and I cannot possibly go back to bed yet: see how much ranting there is to be done via the medium of the internet.
