Honestly thinking it would be better if it was Mewthree. The live-stream I was on speculated that it might be a female Mewtwo, but in my opinion that would kind of suck. All I know is that this is totally mucking up the fanfiction I had planned in my head.

It can't be Mewone, Mew IS Mewone. I think it's a Rocket cloning of Mewtwo's genes, which they had collected when Giovanni had obtained Mewtwo. So, yeah, Mewthree, I guess.

But I also heard it's a new forme called Godspeed Mewtwo. o.O

I'm open to it being something other then a new form, I mean it could be a new Pokemon (Maybe Mewtwo wanted to play scientist again like the first movie, or a part of its body came off and mutated into the Pokemon), the Mew equivalent of Phinobe, or maybe someone's messing around with the DNA Splicers again. Who knows till Game Freak spill the beans...

So Plasma make a Pokemon from DNA abuse: Genesect
Rocket square up to them and make another version of Mewtwo?

I'm liking this Plasma vs Rocket thing they're doing, but for an announcement I'm pretty disappointed. I would have preferred X/Y info instead of a new Pokemon of any kind, to be honest.

Still, it doesn't look bad...but I do feel Mewtwo doesn't need this kind of abuse.

Now that I've seen the real deal in the trailer and official art.... I like it a lot <3

Also, my personal theory is a bit of a stretch, but what if this is the Mewtwo equivalent from another dimension/timeline? You know, like the experiment had churned out a different mutation than what we've known in the main one for so long? And what if the plan is to splice the DNA of Mewtwo Classic and Newtwo? Or uh, maybe they'll just face off against each other, I dunno.
