Someone says they'll sort me out with a computer because they have the components. It was all well and good until I was carrying it upstairs. I heard a thud coming from the inside. It turns out the hard drive caddy wasn't screwed into place, cables covered the CPU fan and there's no case fan. I had to take out the floppy drive to sort out the hard drive problem. The cables were simple, so I see no reason they were in such a mess to begin with. The only problem is that it beeps when I start it, which I don't know the brand, so I have no idea what it means. It either means I need to sort out the RAM or everything's fine and the monitor is in fact broken.

its alright if you sort of have a semi-functioning work ethic but if you coasted in from high school like i did theres a brick wall and (some physics equation to do w/ car crashes; my maths is another thing that needs improving over this summer i think)


like uni is great if you want a challenge and you want to prove yourself in a way cos dang if it ain't the eye-opener for me and im kind of better for it
but also dang if i haven't been dragging my heels and making a load of stupid student excuses cos im lazy and its somehow magically come back to bite me in the ass who would have guessed????? who knew that things had inevitable consequences? lmao

im sure i rambled about this elsewhere tho but im deffo glad i went in the end cos im gonna come out of it a lot better than i went in one way or another esp. since summer 2013 is the Get Better summer

luckily its in the end of 2nd year and not in the final year of my degree or else i'd be really hosed

there is only one thing currently messing with my peace and that is the fact that I cant spend any money.

i got my nose pierced like a week and a half ago
and the stud wouldn't stop falling out and i was really scared about losing it so i git this ring but it was too small
but i put it in anyway because i thought it won't come out

now it's really swollen
and i was trying to get it out yesterday and i'm in agony and i was begging my mum to help me get it out because i couldn't and she got really angry

and now i think i have to go and get it cut out after school because i tried cutting it out and i couldn't, which is bloody great because i have exams today!!! and i won't be able to concentrate because it's so painful

tbh though i don't even think my mum will take me because she's so lazy

I was invited to a house warming party by someone at work. I didn't go because there will be 20-30 people of who I will know two. How do they cope with that? I don't really mind missing out but everyone seems to assume I just can't be bothered or that I'm being rude. Its not like I enjoy being shy or panicking and you can't "just be confident" when most of your life people gave you every reason not to be! :/

Ah well. Got all night to search for nice flat/house shares at least.

job hunting ahh i want to punch someone
I've applied for about 7 or 8 different jobs over the past few weeks. Managed to get an interview at shuch but never got the job. Just sent off applications for tesco, lidl, marks and spencer and the hospital I did work experience at as a porter. It's a catch 22 can't get a job because they need experience, no experience because I can't get a job.
sigh i might go on the dole but then by the time that's processed i'll need to cancel it because i start college in august!

Programming. I'm comparing my current program to an older version of it, and there seems to be no difference between them. For some reason, the older one works while the newer doesn't?
It isn't that I'm annoyed by the fact that the new one doesn't work, but rather the reason behind it. The coding is basically the same for that specific part!!!
