if you ever have to go to a&e and they give you the choice between a friend driving you in and an ambulance take the ambulance

you get the tests done immediately and the results back quite quick if you came in via ambulance

whereas if you turn up as a self-presenting case you will have to wait like 2 hours for a test 2 hours for another and one and a half hours for the results to come back clear for heart function even though its the lungs and by that point you just go Sod It and go home

its not me we went for cos im fit as a fat fiddle but this might save you 5 hours of waiting around like goddamned chumps like we did so Every Little Helps

SMH means 'shaking my head' rather than 'so much hate'. I've been misreading half the posts here for months.

i still misinterpret "mfw" as "my --ing word".
im not sure why, im fairly sure thats not as popular a phrase as ive been lead to believe.
"gmh" still trips me up as well, i have to google it and always get offered the explanation "gay mens health" which is probably not right.
i mean yeah, "gives me hope"... its not used all that often though, so ah well.

dayum i like pointless acronyms as much as the next guy but i cant keep up with all these newfangled fancy phrases what the kids are down with using these days yo.

The evil garden gnomes from that advert should be on Dr Who. They're perfect. D:

Cutting out hundreds of green circles and sticking them onto something into a fish like pattern is very repetitive, Time-consuming and at times, boring. At least there's music :D

"mfw" makes more sense as "my ---ing word" than what it is, assuming I found the right answer. :/

I've realised that in my week off I have achieved nothing except reducing the otherwise constant pain in my feet. Huzzah!

I just read an article on the bbc news website and found out that apparently, deaf people don't make loud sounds when they sneeze.

I used to be fairly quiet when I sneezed but my mum started sneezing loud a few years ago, and I started doing it.
I've even scared a few people with my loud sneezes before!

That Girl in the 'Roo Suit

From 8pm tonight, in the space of 25 hours, I will be working 18 hours, assuming I'm on until close tonight. I have a sneaky suspicion I'm supervising tonight too, so it looks unlikely. My feet are gonna hate me...

Well did she make you cry? Make you break down?
Shatter your illusions of love?
And is it over now? Do you know how
To pick up the pieces and go home?

The phrase, "Find a penny, pick it up, all day long you'll have good luck.", is wrong. All day long, I've had horrible luck. I was mowing the lawn and got stung by a bee, then found another in my shoe, then find out that said bee, (both times), may have been a wasp, lovely. That's just 1 example.
