Excited for these new games as my Emerald version was taken from me and I really enjoyed the third gen. I'm leaning towards gettiing Alpha Sapphire first as I liked Team Aqua more than Team Magma. Unless Omega Ruby has some "new" exclusive Pokemon I like in it (E.G. Meowth and Sewaddle in Omega Ruby compared to say Rattata and Woobat in Alpha Sapphire)

I wonder if they'll add a Sevii Islands-esque feature to it? I loved the Sevii Islands, they really lengthened FRLG for me, and Hoenn doesn't have Kanto like Johto does, so they'll probably add something post game.

apparently Nintendo trademarked several Mega Pokémon around the same time as the first ones - including the legendaries, the other two starters and... Plusle and Minun! Time to breed a shiny Minun to go with my Shiny Plusle from Sapphire to have awesome new megas hell yeeee

Migrating all my Pokemon orginally from RS to the remakes is gonna be a an odd feeling.

The only thing i'm sad about is that i can't do what i did when i was 9- go to woolworth's on release day and buy it i played the hell out of sapphire for about a week and then my bff got ruby. We spent all of that summer hunched over sitting on my door step playing them.
i hope they make the carts coloured again because why not??

When the forum gets updated with the Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire section, the description that appears below the games should say "Because we are the alpha and the omega!"

The biggest thing I'm excited for is Sootoplis City in 3D. Imagine, when you're entering the city from underwater, the camera pans over from overhead, and then dips straight into the volcano to show the character. That would be epic if they did that!

Holy crap, I knew this day would come but it REALLY felt like it wouldn't.

It's goddamn R/S remakes. GODDAMN R/S REMAKES, THIS IS NOT A DRILL.

The first gameplay video is going to be ASTONISHING. I wasn't even a huge fan of R/S as much as everyone else was but jesus christ this is INSANE.

What could it mean? I really hope it's going to be a re-imagined region. Something like Hoenn expanded and made absolutely incredible without drifting too far from the original. I bet these games have been in production for years, I reckon the ideas have been brainstorming ever since HG/SS, this is going to be spectacular.

Oh man how on earth is this going to tie in with Zygarde? The first time I read Zygarde's dex entry I thought it was massively appropriate for Kyogre/Groudon maybe even moreso than Rayquaza in some aspects.

Meteor Falls is going to be delicious. Probably a prime location for Diancie too.

I really really hope they massively expand on R/S/E. Even making cities and towns like Fortree or Slateport as big as some of the larger X/Y cities would be awesome.

Sootapolis, Fortree, Mossdeep and the Space Station, and New Mauville will look so cool in 3D! Sootapolis has always been one of my favorite cities to visit because of its looks and theme.
