Managed to get out work 20 minutes early last night despite breaking my glasses, possibly being hypoglycemic half the shift (but I didn't have time to stop) and cutting myself with the steel wool again.

Just started doing some art again after starting a nuzlocke and getting pretty far in Etrian Odyssey. I'm hoping that I'll be able to make some art that I feel satisfied finishing soon (:

Battling wattson in ruby. Using my marshtomp, I beat his magnemite (spamming mud slap) It used sonicboom and lowered marshtomp's HP to 6. Next, Voltorb. The main reason for this post. I hit it with mud slap and it uses self destruct. I thought it hit and marshtomp was doomed! But I didn't know that self destruct's animation still played even if it misses. Thank god for that! Then Magneton. Straight away (before me) used sonicboom, but missed. Hit it with mud slap (and lowered accuracy) it tried sonicboom again, missed. I killed it with one last mud slap. VICTORY!!!

If marshtomp died, I'd send out makuhita. I'm sure magnemite/Magneton are weak to fighting. I think. Are they?

 Started playing Pokemon Go today! It's pretty fun, ngl. All of my Pokemon are painfully weak atm so I'm not going to be taking gyms any time soon aha. Until my phone case comes I can't really take it out to catch Pokemon either.

Hoping to bum the gyms on the outskirts of town since they're really out of the way from what I've heard.

Still can't decide on a team to join.

I'm salty that a Squirtle ran away from me.

^Imo join Instinct. Not trying to recruit you (especially since i'm going to be mystic once I get it) but Instinct's leader is awesome and the team in general is very underrepresented.

My shift technically should end at 10 PM (though I view 11 as the true end due to the busy shifts I tend to get), and I finished all of my work at about 9:45 last night. My manager on duty (who's really cool) was very pleased about that so it felt good to make someone proud.

Finally have all of my kit for Peru! I fly a week on Friday!!!! Everything is exciting and I'm so relieved that all of the preparations are complete :-)

It would have been much easier but I figured that it would be fun to play for a team with less local support aha. Actually noticed that the more out-of-the-way gyms were Instinct but their rosters were pretty awful with 200CP Hypnos lol.


Managed to find my needles and thread today so I'll be able to put this patch on the back of my jacket in the morning!

My shooting accuracy is getting a bit better. I'm hitting more people with the rapid firing and the handgun. It isn't perfect, though.

I once had this guy (bad guy) who got in close enough to me (was distracted while dodging a grenade thrown at me) to physically attack me, so I was firing wildly around (with a handgun) at one point, he was in front of me (I could see him) and I'm firing as fast as I can with a handgun and he's dying! Then he kills me.
