We've found a venue for our wedding. It's only taken a year and a half...

Today I finally got my study abroad stuff settled!!! So long as I'm good on my deadlines I should be set to go to Florence in the spring for 15 weeks! Hopefully I'll have time and money to come to London during spring break B)

There are better places to go in the UK than London. Yorkshire, Lake District, Birmingham, Manchester, Cornwall.

^ I was planning on going to Manchester at some point because I go to school in an american Manchester :p I'm probably gonna see what I can see if I can go, but idk if I'd be able to do more than a day trip because it's quite the trip to go.

London is better than Birmingham and to an extent Manchester as a city, if you're only going to the UK for a day or two as a holiday abroad then it's your best bet.

i'm a londoner so perhaps biased but i think london is a pretty cool place as long as you're in central london where all the maps/main attractions are.  (ps if you're into musical theatre there's a theatre cafe in shaftesbury avenue and they do open mic afternoons every saturday)

thanks gl <3

Visited London 2 years ago to see my favs green day and spent the day after cramming in all the sights! I loved it though, wish we had more time. No excuse not go back at some point considering my local airport flies to Gatwick now.

You should totally make a trip up to Scotland Liz, and come to Glasgow or Edinburgh!!

Edinburgh's a great city. York's probably the best in England though.

^ And a pint doesn't cost you eight quid

I'm from the Black Country and love it but York is my favourite city. It's so clean.

York is pretty damn fantastic tbh. Would definitely recommend if you're doing a tour of England or something. Would love to go there again.
