Character Guides / Varro Graham« on: January 22, 2007, 02:26 »
Name: Varro Graham
Age: 15 Gender: Male Description: Let's say... 6 feet tall. Fast food and a bit more exercise than usual has left him around 160 lbs. Varro's build leans toward athletic, but he's fairly thin. His skin is nothing special, average tone, perhaps a bit unhealthy. His eyes are a very dull green, his hair is black but too short to show the curls that would be there. Varro's quite proud of his miniature sideburns. A brown and black, smooth vest covers a simple white oxford. An old brown belt holds dark brown corduroys in their place over white tennis shoes. The thick, old, decorated leather watch he wears is an heirloom that he is especially fond of. History: Varro's goal is to become a Professor. He's already decided on which field: Communication. Varro's built several radios and even broadcast a few words from a small radio channel of his own, but recently he's been fiddling with the internet. The Graham family had been socially well-to-do for years in Kanto. Recently, however, they've fallen on harder times, and Varro has done what he could to escape his family crashing down around him: he left. Varro's a rather skilled con artist, he's very persuasive when he needs to be. He's got a quick mind and is good at reading people. Varro had been in the care of his great-uncle for two years, and was easily able to convince the old man he was old enough to get an apartment of his own. Friends: None. Saw that one coming. Enemies: None. Also. Pokémon: Dugtrio Dugtrio was loyal, and battle-hardened. He was used years ago in some foreign skirmish, and was sent to Cerulean to recover after the battle was over. He never left. When Varro was young, Dugtrio was adopted by the Graham family as one of many pets for Varro. Over the years, the other Pokemon were handed down to younger cousins, but Varro ensured he would remain with Dugtrio. The two share a close bond, sometimes it's almost as if Dugtrio were directing Varro like a father figure. Mareep If there was any doubt about Dugtrio being a father figure, it's obvious that Dugtrio is like a father to Mareep. Dugtrio protects Mareep from her own stupidity. Mareep is very hyper and doesn't know her own limitations. Very often she'll try and run far too fast, begin to tip over her tiny legs, and Dugtrio be there and come up from underground to put her back on her feet. 6
