Just for fun, I tried the names I've given the hero trainer over the years, and came up with:

*Splash (the hero for my Blue version)
...Lol nothing. XD

*Simon (the hero for my Silver version)
G/S/C: A Swimmer with two level 20 Tentacools. Male swimmers have an awesome design origin (I forget the game's name, though, but it was an old NES one Game Freak made...which I never played D: ) so I can't really complain.

*Derek (Sapphire version)
G/S/C: A PokéFan with a Lv. 17 Pikachu.
Ru/Sa/Em: Not in the search, but I remember distinctly meeting a Bug Maniac named Derek. I think it was on the same route as the Daycare center? Bug Maniacs are awesome. ;-;

*Monty (Pearl version)
Brought up two Matthews, but no Monty. :<

Oh, if it isn't too hard to implement/there aren't other priorities, would it be possible to search by trainer class, too?

Trying all the names ive used in pokemon over the years and of course my real name and username i got the following:

Mertek - nothing

Eddie - Youngster Eddie > FR/LG > Route 11 > w00t.lvl 21 Ekans.
         - Burglar Eddie > G/S/C > Goldenrod Underground 2f > Growlithe lvl 26 (yay!), Koffing lvl 24 (boo!)

Wren - closest approximation is Youngster Warren > G/S/C > Route 3

Charboy - nothing obviously.

So yeah, looks like only my real name is good for anything in Pokemon heheh
