Bathory - Nordland (entire album)

This album is a masterpiece. It really takes you on an epic journey through the world of the Vikings and Norse Mythology. I almost cried while listening to this album all the way through. Some of the songs are just beautifully put together with chanting and ambient sounds in the background. It almost makes me want to be a Viking, lol. It's very sad and unfourtunate that the band's singer and songwriter Quorthon died before they could complete the album set because Nordland was originally planned to be a 4 album set.

Nordland II is pretty good aswell from what i've heard on Youtube, but the first Nordland was much better. These albums are pretty hard to find, to download and to buy. After I had given up searching on the Internet because most downloads are fake, I went to town. I looked in the metal sections of most music stores, HMV, Zavvi, etc and couldn't find any Bathory albums. I don't trust buying over the Internet, never have and probably never will.
