It's Christmas! We have presents!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Because it's Christmas, we've got a few surprises for you that you may enjoy. They'll make life here a bit more interesting or fun. Let us know what you think.

First, the post waiting time from the same IP has been lowered to 45 seconds. That's almost halving it. How about that? Just page loads and reading topics will more likely take more than that now

You may now send 30 PMs per hour, rather than the 20 it was before. This means that you now only have two minutes to think what you can say, rather than three. Can you take that?

Third here, long discussed but not yet implemented, we have decided that, with the current state of Role Play and the less interesting posts seperated away, we might as well enable post counting in the Role Play forum. This will not apply retroactively, but enjoy.

Last, not just today, but in the last years us admins have done a lot to keep the site and forums running, adding new features and content and making the existing stuff better, and with the gifts we've given you today, we considered it appropriate to add a new Admin Appreciation forum that you can use to say thanks, show your gratitude and show us you care in other ways.

Mike will come along with some other presents later today, we're not done yet, so stand by

(Small sidenote: Some of these things increase the load on our server. While we've set these to not expect any immediate problems, we reserve the right to undo our presents or adjust them so they don't make the server crash and burn. We find this unlikely at this point, but we want you to stay aware of this, and perhaps adjust your use of these features appropriately)

It seems I'm one of the only people who liked not having a post count in RP. >.>

Either way, these are nice additions and I'm glad I'm able to send more PMs in the hour. There were many a time where I had to wait to send more PMs to Dana and DSoul because we were PMing each other so often. xD
And the 45 seconds seem more manageable for people, since it's only a short wait compared to the 70+ seconds which people thought were too long. Thanks again. ^^
