PKMN.NET: New layout!

Welcome to the new PKMN.NET layout! We figured it was time to make a few updates, and so here we are, with a total rework. Although most of the principles stay the same, our HTML has been cleaned up, junk removed, and what we've learned and know now has been applied to improve the site's layout just that bit more.

As you can see, we're back to red, which should please some. There's a number of smaller adjustments, mostly on the site. Just take a look and tell us what you think!

Ha, this is great! Love the Doctor Who reference. The only things I have a problem with is, when the contents of a page go down past the sidebar, the rest of the page continues from below the sidebar instead of keeping in line with the rest of the page contents. It doesn't happen on the forums, only on the main site.

Also, the Forums profile button in the welcome box thing on the main site doesn't take you to your forums profile. Other than that, it's looking great.

wow.

I like it, I <i>love it</i> in fact.  its so..so.. bold! Which I <i>Love</i> really makes the place look more colorful and is quite nice in contract to some businese-like vibe a few sites give.

The slightly reduced viewing space might take sometime to get used to but, its a worthy comprimse.

This is by design and allows use of as much of the screen when the sidebars aren't there anymore. On the right sidebar especially this tends to matter a lot.

Right. I didn't expect it to widen out as I scrolled down is all. I'm sure I'll get use to it.


One thing I really do like though is everything having it's own little box. It makes things look, well, neater for want of a better word. And it's great being back to the red colour scheme.

my only problem is how bulky the sidebar is... tho i guess that'll be down to how familiar i am with small sidebars. i'll get used to it. n______n

Just a suggestion; try a forced refresh by pressing F5. It worked for me earlier.
