20 points of Special Defense assuming he's trying for 31s is a good difference, go get a damage calculator for Ice Beams/insert Grass attacks/etc.

Stuff does 15% more damage, meaning if something did like 60% damage to start he's only receiving 9% more or whatever.  It doesn't stop 2HKOs considering his SDef is already very very low, and I've yet to see the damage calcs that contradict my point..

9% is very nearly enough to almost allow another Life Orb usage.

'very nearly' isn't a WHOLE 10% though. So 9% will still afford as many attacking turns than if that 9% extra damage wasn't there.

I rarely go for anything beyond speed so I'd have been quite happy with that outcome ^^;

Low HP IV is ideal for sub-seeding, but for overall hit taking you'd want a higher one. The defense is terrible anyway
