yes, what's happening in libya is very sad and alarming, and i care, but these things happen often. it's only when it hits the news that people begin to care and attempt to do something about it. when the libya stories fade out of the news, the people that i have in mind right now aren't going to care very much anymore.

I think the amount of Libya support on tumblr is alarming. I think the degree of support is quite shocking too, I've seen a photo of dead Libyans posted on tumblr, and... I'm actually a little disgusted that anyone would allow the mangled bodies of the victims to be circulated like that. We don't need to see the dead to understand what's going on, it's unnecessary and pretty disrespectful imo. :\

Actually, I'm only annoyed at tumblr today. More elitism towards Facebook, mainly. Oh, and I shouldn't be allowed on tumblr when I'm drunk at 4am and bitter towards the world.

You shouldn't really try to force stuff away from people, it's down to them at the end of the day. Not everyone who smokes dies from a smoking related disease too =P

i agree that it's repetitive seeing the same libya related posts on your dash every 10 minutes, but really we can't just wait until the media drag their asses in their and try to help raise awareness. without seeing on the news, some people are oblivious to what's happening there. it ]is horrifying, but it seems only a few people around me know what the hell is even happening there. also while i agree that it's disrespectful to show dead bodies, i feel that it's... okay to circulate some pictures as long as it's not for LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME I'M SO HARDCORE POSTING DEAD BODIES!!!!!!!!

i thought that "i could care less" came from a sarcastic version of "i couldn't..". 
More likely I just read absolutely everything posted on the internet in a sarcastic tone of voice.
