Chloe arises from the tent and takes a berry. "Morning, Chloe," I snicker as she impales the berry on a stick, (It's about 10:00 PM in the story, that's why I snicker) and holds it over the fire.
"Shut up," she replies sarcastically and munches the berry. "I only got 3 hours of sleep last night. Thanks for waking me up in the middle of the night. "
"Chloe, you need to eat. You've barely been eating," I say and hand her a lime Gatorade.
She takes a gulp, then burps. "Sorry. Draghost's death really depressed me."
"Same," I reply.

I flew into the bushes choking a wrinkly tree outside the campsite. There were a few gruesome beating sounds, and a hand rose over the bushes and fell backwards hopelessly. He was unconscious. Berries fell through the bushes from the hand that was once groping for life, before it went still on the ground. I shone Spheracle at the unconscious body, and the orb's inner rings dilated, growing "razor-teeth" of intense light over their round edges. A subtle flash licked the bark barely over the bush, as the rest of the bright glare was walled in and distorted by the bush's thick coat. The body remained, but it was empty and hollow, and the eyes were blank except for the bloodshot lightning that was once attracted by a steely center, which was now drained away. My one sphere defeated two spheres, which were just as magical, to be imbued with one of the five senses. Spheracle contained a new soul, and it was not that of a worthless Modminion, hard enough to believe that one even had a soul. I flew through Blazicario and stopped before a tent, waiting for the Memberlanders to prepare completely.
