I've already walked for ten minutes when I can make out three people.  All of them are young.  I can't hear what they're saying, but I can sense some tension between them.  I see that one of them has a staff.  I can't help smirking.

I hoist myself quickly up a tree without making much noise.  Watching out of sight has served me better than outright conversation.

//Being sneaky is also a lot more fun.//

^ I reach out, trying to grasp at the air that is empty of people, there is no one. Then at the very edge of my reach there is something, A woman. I try to connect with her senses but I am too far away to get a good idea of who she is. I know one thing however. She is laced Dark Magic. ^

"There is someone." I say in a hushed voice "A night warlock. Odds are this one is not so friendly. We should move. Fast."

^I make a few pebbles nearby lift, and through them into the tree^

"Quickly, run down that street, take the first left, wait there, I'll be right there"

I focus.  Though I may not be as adept at biomancy as this girl, I know enough to protect myself.  I feel my magic flow through my body for a moment, then it's gone.  My senses are none of the biomancer's business now, as they should be.

I lean forward to try and catch what she says.  She's sensed me.  She claims that I'm a night warlock.  I completely lose it.  I throw back my head and cackle loudly.  It takes all I can to stop myself from falling out of the tree.  I don't even bother deflecting the pebbles thrown at me.

I calm down a little from my laughing fit and I jump down from the tree.  I put my hands up in 'surrender'.

"I vote against fireballs, boy.  Trees don't take well to it."

"Alright, it's a day warlock, probably either a bio or geomancer. Just come down, and the trees won't get incinerated."
