So many older Pokemon have had buffs to their base stats this generation. We don't know all of them right now, but here's what we know so far:

Butterfree: Special attack increase from 80 to 90
Beedrill: Attack increase from 80 to 90
Pidgeot: Speed increase from 91 to 101
Pikachu: Defense increase from 30 to 40 and a special defense increase from 40 to 50
Raichu: Speed increase from 100 to 110
Nidoqueen: Attack increase from 82 to 92
Nidoking: Attack increase from 92 to 102
Clefable: Sp. Attack increase from 85 to 95
Wigglytuff: Sp. Attack increase from 75 to 85
Vileplume: Sp. Attack increase from 100 to 110
Poliwrath: Attack increase from 85 to 95
Alakazam: Sp. Defense increase from 85 to 95
Victreebel: Sp. Defense increase from 60 to 70
Golem: Attack increase from 110 to 120
Ampharos: Defense increase from 75 to 85
Azumarril: Sp. Attack increase from 50 to 60
Jumpluff: Sp. Defense increase from 85 to 95
Exploud: Sp. Defense increase from 63 to 73
Staraptor: Sp. Defense increse from 50 to 60
Roserade: Defense increase from 55 to 65
Stoutland: Attack increase from 100 to 110
Gigalithe: Sp. Defense increase from 70 to 80
Seismistoad: Attack increase from 85 to 95
Scolipede: Attack increase from 90 to 100
Krookodile: Defense increase from 70 to 80

Do you think any of these make them more viable in the metagame? Are you excited about any of these? I'll keep this post updated with changes as they're unveiled.

Butterfree's sp.atk boost makes him less terrible, more chance of running offensive sleep powder sets. Beedrill's still useless.

Pidgeot's change is big. He can now outspeed base 100s, learns u-turn and the buff to defog and feather dance means that his support role in lower tiers might be a good one. Looking forward to seeing how he plays in NU/RU environment.

Pikachu lol. Raichu's speed increase is welcome, I still reckon he's too frail and his sp.atk isn't great enough for him to sweep solidly.

Nidoqueen and Nidoking probably would have wanted a buff to their bulk or sp.atk considering their sheer force movepool is mostly special. Might be able to make it work, though.

Clefable and Wigglytuff are less of a taunt bait, not a significant change really. Alakazam and Ampharos are probably only more bulky so that they can last longer before turning into Megas, not too significant.

Azumarill's increase is as pointless as it gets from a competitive view.

Krookodile who cares.

Scolipede is looking dangerous this generation! 100 attack and the reported change of hidden ability to speed boost makes him more viable as an offensive support mon with spikes or just generally sweeping. Megahorn, a buffed poison stab that hits fairies, EQ, SD and you're good to go. Shame he's still frail as a paper bag.

Roserade is looking good this generation too. Resistance to fairy, slightly improved bulk, sleep powder is now legal with spikes, more coverage in the form of dazzling gleam! Aaha, this generation is looking to be quite nice so far.

Poliwrath apparantly has a 95 base attack now! It can break 300 attack now!

And another update! Vileplume's Sp. Attack boost is nice, I really love Vileplume <3

Stoutland has more Attack to make use of, which is nice for the Sand Sweeper.

Clefable is another I'm excited about; even though it's not a huge boost in power, Clefable's got new typing and moves to make use of. May make Magic Guard Life Orb more viable, especially with only two fairly manageable weaknesses.

Hahex and Oshawott

playing with beedrill for the first few gyms in my playthrough and he definately seems stronger. dunno about competitive play, perhaps his typing against fairy types will help him.

SaRo|Rapidash

Wigglytuff's change is a really nice change for me; at least now I can use him well!

It can kind of use an offensive set with specs. Obviously strictly NU, but something along the lines of:
252 SpA / 252 SpD / 4 HP
Calm / Modest
-> Flamethrower / Fire Blast
-> Dazzling Gleam / Hyper Voice
-> Thunderbolt / Thunder
-> Ice Beam / Blizzard
Pretty sure this combo is unresisted, or at least I can't think of anything that resists it. Dazzling Gleam is probably better than hype voice if only for the coverage against fighting types.
