this just made my life
also after transferring what pokemon i could from gen 5 (too lazy to transfer from gen 4 atm as internet connection isn't being very cooperative on the DSI's side to actually do any IV to VI transfer) i've jumped from like... 369 to 450 in the pokedex. I'm nearing it. Sloooooowly.

just so you guys know i'll be sending some of my more common pokemon that i only transferred for pokedex entries over wondertrade now - gen 5 stuff, i doubt any have good stats but they'll be good to fill your pokedex a bit. OTs are Liadan, Jessica and there's actually two more that i cant remember the names of

so if you can't transfer yet you might get lucky, yo. glad to help.

First off, I want to say that the lack of Mystery Gift for this one might be frustrating (no soft reset until a calm one with perfect IV). However, at least in my case, it is granted with three perfect IV, as all legendaries of this generation. That's right: you only have one shot.

Freaking finally. I actually badly need the box space, transfer is kind of secondary for me. Breeding spares take a lot of room.

I'd been thinking the same kind of thing.

I'm really low on space on X, so was probably going to put some stuff on there before and after doing all my transfers.

Will have to wait until the weekend at the moment to sort things, because don't have internet/wi-fi at home yet.

First off, **** *** for calling me a nerd.  (I hope you were joking)
Second, let me explain it:

1st: Download PokéBank.
2nd: Make a transfer, you will receive either battle points or PokéMiles.
3rd: Get the first gift at the nexus.
4th: Make another transfer, you will get a Celebi.
5th: Nexus. Enjoy your new randomly-generated Flying Onion.

I think that nerd was a description of Celebi, rather than you.
You don't have to make a transfers, just open up the bank boxes. Grab the first prize (pokemiles or BP) through the in-game pokemon link (its on the menu with mystery gift, continue, new game etc.) and go back into pokemon bank.
Check your bank boxes again and Bridgey-chan should tell you that you have a celebi.
Go back to Pokemon Link and pick up your celebi. Load into the game and save your game. Done

Finally got Bank at the weekend and finished moving everything over.

Now to breed things and fill in all the gaps and stuff. Sort of want to have a complete Pokedex (or near complete) sitting on Bank for future reference. I'll probably leave the Legendaries on game though.

Why can't GTS show a pokemon's ability? All I want is an analytic elgyem. T.T
