Suddenly, Kalea had a very bad feeling. "Lucario, do you have the strength for a protect? I get the feeling that something bad's gonna happen. Really bad. ...like... oh crap. Del's a ghost. Killing him is literally only temporary as long as he has enough essence left over. And if I'm right... I think he might be out for revenge. Specially since everyone running off kinda did cause his 'death'. If he shows up, I'll try to talk some sense into him, see if he'll listen. While I'm doing that, barring any... accidents, get the group as far as possible. That goes for you too Slash. If I'm in any fit state, I'll catch up."

[Hitmonchu]

I sense a disturbance as well. I load up the AR and get ready to fire.
"Who's there?" I bark. "Show yourself!"

[SirBlaziken]

Ryu looks at Keira. "Damn, why did we have to be right?" he then turns to Kalea, "He may listen to you and from the sound of it, Slash will live. The rest of us, well, if he killed innocents, he'd be no better than the d-day pokemon. I'm bullet resistant, due to being a steel type. As for the protect, let's just get a move on."

Keira looks to see the blue light. "Uh..... we need to leave, now!"

Ryu nods. "It's times like this that I wish a was a kecleon." he said. "Sunny, Dana, Jaime, run! Keira, go with them, I will not let you die if I do." The lucario sets Reiru down and gets into a defensive stance.

"Del! Show yourself!"

[Wolstenholme]

Keira looks to see the blue light. "Uh..... we need to leave, now!"

((I don't understand this bit, what blue light?))

Ryu is shouting for Sunny and some others to run. She inwardly rolled her eyes he's too headstrong for his own good She thought. Then she ran and found a nearby log that would seclude smaller pokemon like her and Keira. Sunny thought about the Vulpix and wondered whether she had a place to hide. "Keira, over here!" She shouted to the child and waved her over.

((Del and Cindy teleporting. I wanted to give everyone a fair notice))

Keira decided to listen to Ryu on this matter and ran after Sunny to the log.

Meanwhile, Ryu was planning what to do when this 'Del' showed himself.

I should start with a protect, and hold it as long as possible, then my energy should be low enough to go mega. Then, just make sure no one on our side dies. the lucario thought to himself.

"Kalea, he doesn't know me yet, I could use this to my advantage. I could jump into the shadows and use protect on you guys. Then if things turn violent, we'll go from there." Ryu said, and without waiting for an answer, he hid in a bush and put the protect up around Reiru, Slash and Kalea.

[Meowstic Royalty]

Upon seeing that the team have noticed the two are there, Del and Cindy immediately disappear into the shadows, almost invisible.

"Pits. Cindy, the blue light gave away our position. Great job."

"Del, it was either that, or you would walk for thousands of miles. Be grateful for once."

"No time for an argument, we need to find a way out of this. I've been with these guys ten years for no reason, but I've still learnt a lot about them. Some of them could knock the both of us unconscious with one hit."

"If that's the case, why do you Want to kill them? You could get yourself killed!"

"I'm a Gengar. A ghost, remember?"

"Whatever. Dont expect me to help."

"Tch, really haven't changed in ten years, have you Cindy...?"

Del sighs and slowly turns himself visible again. He clicks his shotgun and aims it at Ryu, chuckling under his breath.

"So, you're volunteering to die first, whoever you are. How kind."

[SirBlaziken]

"Guess I am, huh?" Ryu said, coming out of the bushes.

Damn, my plan didn't work. he thought

"Before you try to cut me short, allow me to say this. Even though we left and you allegedly died, everyone's been blaming themselves since. Including me, even if I didn't know you. This group has been brought closer, to fight in your memory. And now you're gonna throw that away? You're going to kill the rest of us, leaving you and your friend? Even the youngest and most innocent ones? The ones who had your back for so many years? If that's the case, you never deserved to be leader, because killing innocents, killing children, is the worst crime to even commit. And I swear, if you try this, even if you can be reborn in this form, I will kill you every single time. Trying to kill the ones who fought by your side day in and day out? This tells me, we're not the traitors, you are. If you are trying to kill us, instead of trying to help us again, you're the real problem, not us." said the Lucario

Ryu's energy started to drain.

Alright, let's go! he thought

A blue energy surrounded Ryu, and he mega evolved. "You and me, one on one. No weapons, just a good old fashioned battle of skills and moves. If you kill me, you walk. Just know this, try to hurt anyone else, and I swear on arceus' name, I will wipe you from existence. And on that happy note, let's start." said the mega lucario, casting aside his weapons.

[Meowstic Royalty]

Del puts the safety on his shotgun and throws it to the ground. "I must say, it is remarkable how you are willing to put your life on the line to save the others."

"However, your words have no effect on me. You see, I am one of those that does not take betrayal kindly. No matter what the circumstances, revenge will always be on my mind."

"I never even knew you, so I will feel no guilt if I end your life here and now,"

Del folds his arms, grinning. "You may have first move."

[SirBlaziken]

"But why die a traitor? See these pokemon? Ryu motions to everyone who hasn't hid yet. "They would all be dead if not for you? And now you choose the throw it away? Sometimes, revenge is not the best route. I put life on the line because the pokemon have pure intentions. And now to finally meet someone as dark as myself, makes me sick. How could I be like that, then act self-righteous? The real question is, how could you? How could you go back on the ones that counted on you, and kill them? I'm ready, to defend these great pokemon with my life, as it is the oath I took upon myself on your resting place. And now that I see you alive and like this, Luminose city isn't sacred ground, it's traitorous ground. Also, the other one?" Ryu said motioning to Cindy, "If she is willing to help you in the act, she's no better than you. And you're no better than the hordes you killed in that past 10 years. Killing those who looked up to you, I even admired your courage in battle, seeing the destruction from it! If you were to kill me now, i've spoken my mind, and i'm not afraid to die."

"However, i'm not one to kill for the sake of killing or petty revenge, as you are, Del. I kill only if I must, to survive. If I defeat you, I won't kill either of you, a thing of mercy and honor. But you, you know no honor. And to kill you, means I have no honor. What I have said may seem mean or judging, but those are my thoughts and my thoughts alone. Now, time to keep my oath. If I die right here and now, I die an honorable death. Del, come at me!" Ryu said, motioning to Del.

Why did I have to be right? And why did I open my big mouth? Now I must fight for my life! Ryu thought

When Del formed, Slash looked at him, and his jaw opened in bewilderment. The aura was strange enough, but he was quite literally seeing a ghost. But... he was dead! Slash thought, realizing now that he didn't know a thing about ghost pokemon. And the fact that he was looking for revenge... That didn't sound like Del at all!

When Ryu stepped forward, and make his speech, Slash cut the bewilderment. "Ryu, do you have a beehive for a brain?" he spat out. Even if there was nothing else that Ryu could do, even if it was fight or die, Slash admired the lack of hesitation that the Lucario had. Even though Del had no type advantages against Ryu, Del was extremely disciplined, and knew what he was doing when it came to fighting. He looked at Ryu, and was honored by how far the Lucario would do for what was right. He has the true values of a pack leader, Slash thought, remembering all that his dad had taught him.

And now it's time for me to be brave,

Slash stepped forward to stand beside Ryu. "Del..." he began, beginning to articulate his words. He spoke deeply and strongly. "When I stayed back to make sure you would make it out safe, I was just as furious as you are now. I began to lead you back from the safehouse to catch up with the group. I nearly died to try to protect you. My muscles and bones are still feeling the sting from that fight. When the fight was over, you looked at me, and told me to lead them, and to keep them all safe. I don't know what has happened to you since that moment, but I will never, ever turn my tail to my pack again!" Slash growled the last part, baring his teeth. He was confident that by lining up a few nasty plots, and firing off a few dark pulses, Del would return right back to where he belonged: The grave.

Ryu looked shocked by Slash's words. "Slash. Thank you for this, but one on one is just that. I won't go back on my honor. Then again, Del doesn't deserve an honorable death! Join in if you want, either way, this won't be pretty." said the Lucario.

Keira, this may not end well, but if I tell you to run, do not look back, just run. Ryu sent the telepathic message to the young fox.

I will if I have too, I have a plan. I may able to use hypnosis to distract him long enough to get an attack in! She thought back

I'll tell slash. Use it on the signal Ryu responded in his mind.

"Slash, Keira at some point will use hypnosis to distract Del, that will be our best shot to attack." Ryu whispered to Slash.

Kalea stepped forward. She wasn't going to let Slash and Ryu get themselves killed, not without doing all that she could to prevent it. "Ever since I was little, you taught me that the strong protect the weak. You told me that this might be hell, but you intend to get as many out on the other side as you can. You would go back on that?" She readied something silvery in her claws. It took the form of a slim sword, formed of energy. Almost subconsciously, Kalea moved through a kata ((How Kalea does a Sword's Dance)) and a faint white aura surrounded her, consuming the energy sword in the process. She felt her heart rate accelerate, and things seemed to become slightly slower. Gotta be faster. Can't let him be able to catch me. This I choose to do. If there is a price, this I choose to pay. If it is my death, then I choose to die. Where this takes me, there I choose to go. I choose. This I choose to do.

"There are children in the group Del. And if you're willing to kill children as revenge, then I must stand against you. You taught me to always use my strength to protect those in need. Well here I stand. No matter the cost, here we stand. And if it comes to it, we will defeat you. As ofen as is required."


((Mentioning now that i've got no phone credit so once i leave for my errands, I won't be able to reply until tonight. So if we can get some off beforehand... ))

"So, its three against one is it?" Del says, grinning. "Slash, you helped me unlike the rest, so I'll try not to kill you too painfully. I'm focusing on your two friends there,"

"Enough chit chat, let's do this!"

The Shadow Pokemon rises out of the ground and levitates in the air, looking like a spirit. He quickly launches multiple Toxic attacks at the Houndoom and Blaziken In succession.

"It was effect Ryu. The other two can have it to die quicker!"

He reverts back to his form in the ground. The floating is a neat ability, but it doesn't last long and wastes energy.

[SirBlaziken]

"Damn he's clever. We need to end this fast." Ryu said, and he fired dark pulse and flash cannon off in quick succession.

Keira, Del poisoned them. You may have to sneak over to get supplies over. Ryu thought to Keira ((It sounds weird, I know))

Isn't your scarp a pecha scarf, and you have some pecha berries in your bag? She responded

Ryu realizes that he has a pecha scarf on his neck. He takes it off and quickly ties it around Slash's neck, then gets into his bag to get a couple of pecha berries. "Eat these." Ryu said, handing them over. "Slash, that's a pecha scarf, so toxic isn't much of a problem anymore although you should still dodge, Kalea, you'll have to think quickly. He's crafty, but we have the numbers advantage. This can't last too long."

Keira, get ready. Ryu thought over to Keira.

Sunny wished there was something she could do, she was scared of what would happen if Del won this battle. What would happen to her? What would happen to Dana and Jaime? She shuddered to think. The three of them were the first to leave the HQ and Sunny's restless personality was entirely to blame, she had been bored of waiting for everyone to finish collecting weapons and eating d-day pokemon and she had run off. Now all her friends were in this horrible position and it WAS entirely her fault. She was solely to blame for Del's 'death' and his lust for revenge. There was a horrible weight of guilt pressing down on her heart and she felt nauseous. She slumped in her position and fainted from the rush of acute emotions that had come over her. Everything went black.
