Future Giveaway: LEGIT Shiny Mew-Old Sea Map Event- I'll be SR'ing for

I thought this might interest some people on this site. To make a long story short I have a Japanese Pokemon Emerald with a legit old sea map. I am now in the process of SR'ing to get a shiny Mew (2,000+ atm). I will then be doing a giveaway for the Mew (I don't really have any interest in shiny legends). However I do realize how extremely RARE this is, and I cannot pass on the opportunity to not try for a shiny.

Also, I have a video, that I can post if anyone is interested in seeing me legitimately use the old sea map! Just post comments if interested (:

Alright, i'd be interested, as long as it isn't corrupt. Seeming as this seems legit, sure why not.

I want this mew so that I can add the data into my pokedex and hopefully make a good use of it if it has a good nature and IV's (eat your heart out Richard, you and your blaziken if I win, which seems unlikely with my luck). It would be an awesome pokemon to use in my competitive battles and Mew is just cool pokemon in general.

You should pick me because, well, why would I feed you reasons to pick me. I could say i'm nice and modest, but i'd be lying. Overall, it's your pokemon and your decision. Although I may be able to breed something for you if I have the spare time. Still, don't let that influence you. There's likely a lot of other users more deserving of it, and that's ok. Just having the chance to get a shiny mew is once in a lifetime, and just entering is amazing. If someone else wins, life goes on, but this would be a true gem, competitively ready or not.

I just PM Richie1991 and I believe I deserve it because everytime Mew was given away, I NEVER got a chance to get it. The RBYGSRSEFRLG events didn't even come to my area and then when the HGSS Wi-Fi Mystery Gift event came around, my DS was confiscated by a crazy lady who STILL won't give me back it OR my games back. I mean I actually lost my Draco Meteor Jirachi AND Pikachu Colored Pichu because of her! I also lost my LG, Emerald, SS, AND Platinum games because of this. I've always wanted Mew and screamed when I found out that HGSS was having a Mew giveaway and I once again had to miss out.

^Thanks. It is indeed crazy to be in my situation. I have most of the more recent Event Pokemon barring Mew, Jirachi, Shaymin, Manaphy, and Darkrai. Never had any of the Ranger games and I missed the Shaymin Mystery Gift event.

you sound like one of those people who used to submit "tips" to gamefaqs back in the day saying while your playing pokemon crystal "click on each electrode 50 times - make sure you have 3 spots open in your party, and then make sure you capture each one. After you capture all 3 save the game, but turn it off right as it is saving. Then start a new game and you'll have every pokemon in your box."

Ok.  Let me make my case for the Mew!



Well, the reason why you should pick me should be obvious in my username: I happen to love Mew.  I at least love it enough to devote my username to it.  I'll admit, I don't have any sob story and I can admit that Captain Jigglypuff probably has a better reason for getting it.  On the other hand, I'll be downright happy to give him my Mew that I got from the HGSS giveaway to him for free if you choose me.

Quite the opposite of him, I've always made sure I was there to get the Mew giveaway.  I remember bugging my dad to take me to a mall about 20 miles away just because it was giving away Mew for Red and Blue back when it first came about.  I remember getting frustrated that it only knew Pound when I got it at level 5 and I remember teaching it Psywave, an attack that stayed there despite how crappy it was until I traded it over to Gold and Silver where I instead cloned it and taught it Shadow Ball.  I still remember looking at its profile and finding out it had the OT of Luigi.  I remember taking it to the Name Rater to nickname it but it wasn't allowed.

I could go on about my adventures with that Mew, but it would be fun to continue adventures with a shiny one.
