I had that patience (I tried SRing for a Shiny Rayquaza in Emerald about that long but never got it), but damn is this guy lucky too!

I only got a Legendary as a legit Wild Shiny once before and it was a Uxie. I forgot to save my game and I turned it off and lost it. But it was a completely random occurrence for me as the only Pokemon I tend to find in the wild are non-Legendary.
