Which part of reddit have you went to?  The nfl subreddit and a bunch of other subreddits - like /r/games and /r/AskHistorians - are incredibly informative and well moderated.  People can be dicks sometimes, but c'est la vie.

If you're going on /r/all and the front page in general, then you'll see a lot of cringeworthy stuff.  If you're visiting some of the terrible subreddits whose purpose is cringeworthy stuff, then that's all you'll see.  Thankfully, much of reddit is separated from one another and a bunch of subreddits have good mods and good coding to prevent attacks from spammers.

Bad experience from a front page subreddit.  There's a lot of music subreddits, and there are some which are quite pleasant.

Basically you've been going onto the wrong parts of reddit.

Clevelnad lost their draft pick in round 7, to the ravens. We traded it away, and I want to know why.

Edit: We got a 6th round pick for next year. So, looks like rookie free agency is where we go WR shopping.

michael sam is the first openly gay guy to get drafted, even with a bad pro day (or bad something, at least) going to St Louis. steps in the right direction for the nfl.

We drafted Mike Campanaro, who went to high school in my county.  They seemed to always blow us out like 49-something every year, without fail.  He graduated high school a year before me, but I remember sophomore year of high school they were killing us 49-0 at halftime.
