I hope, by breeding my two Skarmorys, I can get a shiny.

I'm literally hatch as many eggs as I can!

So far hatched four Skarmorys, none are shiny. One is called Steve, another Jeff, one Emily, one birdo.

I wish you the best of luck, but let me help you have better luck. Though breeding two normal pokemon, you have a 1 in 8,092 or so chance of hatching a shiny. That will take you forever. But, if you can find 2 skarmories from different regions, like by using GTS or our trade section, the chance will fall to like 1 in a few hundred, which is a way better chance!

The simplest and far faster way to get a shiny skarmory is through "chaining" though, although you would need to catch it in the wild. I can elaborate more on how to do that if you'd like.

Just to let you know, I'm playing pokemon emerald on an emulator, so I can't trade or do any of that fancy stuff.

My brother has emerald on a gameboy, but I don't know if he has any versions on his phone. If he does, I'll ask him "do you like skarmorys? If you do, I got a dozen you can have!"

In case you're wondering, I did call my skarmory "Jeff" because I was thinking of "my name's Jeff!"

On Emerald, you're going to have problems. I believe the RNG on Emerald is messed up, so it makes it more difficult to get shinies -- this is because shinies appear at certain "times", and Emerald's RNG means that these times loop permanently every time you boot up the game.

However, you would be better off trying to find one in the wild, instead of by hatching eggs.

If you can though, I would recommend moving off from Emerald and using a different game to hatch your shiny Skarmory.

i cant really give you any suggestions without it being illegal (and therefore against the rules), sorry. there is a way to hack pokemon into emulated games, though, but i'm not gonna tell you why because of what i just said lmao

You mean put cheat codes in to make every wild pokemon shiny.
