Another SuMo trailer released today on the Japanese Pokémon Youtube - and what the hell

here it is

Instead of a mega bracelet (or perhaps with a mega bracelet) we get a Z bracelet which gives Pokémon a Z move. No idea what that is at the minute.

Ice ninetales is my favourite thing ever and i want one right now. Other than that, im genuinely impressed with how much they seem to be shaking things up. Its like theyre actually putting real thought into the game.

Also kind of wondering if mega evolution will even be a thing now. Ive seen people debating it before and i didnt think much of it, but now that theres a new mechanic that requires a weird bracelet, plus a new kind of special form, it does raise some questions.

Sun/Moon look absolutely wild and I'm not sure if I'm happy abt it?

I know they probably feel like they've got to bring in new features that keep the game fresh but not sure if they're trying too many different things at once. I just really hope that game/battle mechanics don't become endlessly confusing because I already have a hard enough time with it lol

 Kinda gutted with Yungoose's evo ngl, looks a bit like a blond Daryl from TWD.

It looks super good tho with Litten's nuke thing. Chuffed that Eggbae gets more attention lol.

apparently there was also a leak of the final evos that everyone was like "haha that's fake cause litten's evo is just bad furry bait" but it had one of the trials girls on it

^About the only one I like from those IS the Litten final evo. I'm rather indifferent to the owl  but I really hope that's not Popplio's final form. Not that it's a deal-breaker or anything, I guess I was just expecting something less... that. Not that it'll prove or disprove anything, but middle evos when?

While I'm being skeptical here, the only gripe I have with the Alolan forms of old Pokemon is the possibility that the actual amount of new Pokemon from Alola is not going to be much more than the new Pokemon from Kalos. I mean, I like the idea, don't get me wrong-- I'm looking forward to discovering new variations of old Pokemon, if more are to be had-- but I really like discovering entirely new species, too.

Kalos' routes felt oversaturated with wild Pokemon to me, and there weren't enough new Pokemon to make it feel like its own region. Here's hoping Sun and Moon strike a balance somehow.

TBH I read the bad furry bait part and laughed because that's pretty spot on at least for those kind of furries, most furries aren't completely corrupted and perverted but that's a chat for another time.

Anyways, the rowlet final evo looks like someone who would approach you in NYC and ask you to buy a watch, either that or steal your wallet and basketball tickets in Cleveland.

Love popplio's final evo, though it looks pretty feminine and that's a bit odd since most starters are male. Looking at you fennekin.

^You might be able to make an argument for Braixen, but I didn't think there was anything strongly feminine about Delphox.

And yeah, I guess what I was hoping for was something to play up the clown/performer aspect Popplio made me think, but whoever designed it might have had a different kind of performer in mind (I mean, Disarming Voice does lend the idea to a singer...)

If it turns out to be Water/Fairy like the rumors say, though, that's not so bad imo. Better than pure Water again.

I really like the Alolan forms of older Pokemon. I hope we also get a Alolan Gyrados that is finally part Dragon and maybe have a moray eel type look to it, an Octillery based on a blue ring octopus and part Poison, and an Alolan Bellossom that is more vibrant and has tropical flowers on its head.

More (potential) new Alola formes! Do not hold me to these, they just came across my tumblr dash. Will do more digging to see if I can find the trailer!!


EDIT: These are most likely definitely fake now that I did some diggin, but there are leaks saying several other Pokémon are getting Alola forms. Watch this space.

Alola Vaporeon in that if it's true looks like somehing you'd fish out of the ohio river if someone dumped a bunch of food coloring into it ngl.
