Even amongst the UK ones there is a minor division... Namely the usual Scotland/England fun... Ireland and Wales seem neutral.

Perhaps Edinburgh for next year. Personally I always find it mildy classier than Gllasgow, much as I love both.

isn't edinburgh STILL a bit far? Personally I think somewhere in the middle of the UK, maybe even the North West which, if you look at all of britain in a map, looks pretty centric*

The Official Meet has always been in London, so it's also about tradition as well as convenience. There are other meets throughout the year organized by various individuals that take place all over the country. They are often not advertised publicly because they aren't official and the Admins don't want to be liable.

It's also dictated by where the admins are able to meet up, and myself and Rob both want to have another holiday in London this Summer. It's highly unlikely we'll be in London in 2012 due to the Olympics, so the North of England might get a bit of a look in then

I'll have to check on my plans (I'm not sure when my boarding school term ends), but hopefully I can show that I haven't gone off and decayed in some pit of acid somewhere and let you all know I'm still around.

Although that means, like last time I went to a meet (this goes especially to those who remember me) I'm gonna need help due to my heart condition and visual impairment. However, I will try to make it and have fun with you all.
