I try to type something in the search bar, then this pops up: "'An Error Occured!' You are not allowed to search for posts in this forum!" Why? :(

Searching is disabled for some member groups and forums for performance reasons (there was a time where we had so many posts and searches that using it pretty much stopped the forums working for a bit).

The best way to search is to use Google's search bar in the top box. If you include inurl:forums in your search query, it will only look for forum posts.
