Both of you, get off my planet, now. Of course it needs an evo, right now, derpsparse is a joke a best. Any fighting type move nerfs it.

Correction; any move nerfs it ;D

I do, but I was changing what he said, so I was going by what he clearly meant by it. I just assumed it was what the Americans use the word for or something.

I had no idea, it just sounded right. *Braces for LR's wrath*

Don't use my first name.  You don't even know me.

A nerf refers to a weakening in effect between two games or two editions of a game.  Example: Dig got nerfed between RBY and GSC because it went from 100 base power to 60.  It's not used to reference reducing the HP of a Pokemon -_-

I would advise you to not clump us all together because one person uses a word incorrectly unless you want to face a huge rant from me, boy.

I said I assumed. Perfect tense. In the past, a complete finished action. In other words, at the time I thought it must just be what the Americans used the word for, however when you said otherwise I knew that it was just a mistake. It's not that unlikely that it could've been the Americans way if saying it, after all, many words are used differently between the two countries.

Spriter

Umm, nerf has a pretty much universal meaning. Assuming Americans use it =/= generalising. Besides, you've proved you don't know what it means.

Dunsparce would suck without an evolution. Hell, it's terribłe so it needs it.

quack98

^I wasn't saying I assumed Americans used it, I said I assumed Americans used it in the sense SB used it, but LR has said they use it in the same way as British people do. All I was saying is that I do know what it means, but as I was repeating SB, I used it in the same way he did (which at the time I assumed to be the American way of using it, although I now know that it was just a mistake he made)

Just to prove I do know what it means; A nerf is where something's effect is negatively changed through the course of time, or in this case between two games.

Oh, thank god, no rant from LR. (BTW Robin, Blaze is ok as well) Still, even if I used it wrong, you know what I meant, derpsparce eats dirt if hit by any attack.

Leave Dunsparce as he is, not every Pokémon has to end up being useful. :police:

Dunsparce was born in the gutter, and in the gutter it shall remain.
