Personally, I don't see the problem in making a place for the trolls to go.
This thread was made to help the forum, not hurt it.

My reasoning is, the concept is great, but it would encourage them to troll, then they would move outside this topic, and then drive everyone else insane, ruining the place, if we have a problem, we could report it.

no one really wants trolls on the site. making a topic just for them might make the trolls feel welcome here and that PKMN accepts trolls. what we need to do with trolls is report them and let them die, not make a thread for them.

Breaking the rules is hurting the forum. There's rarely an excuse to break the rules. You can't allow something which is already officially not allowed.

Since this topic is made to be on this forum, it must follow the forum's rules, which it doesn't, for any good reason.

And I have to agree with Blaziken. From the forum I come from, these kinds of threads only give them more of a reason to troll. They see it and figure: so we CAN do it then. I'd know.
