I'm going to take a non-competitive stance here. You see, overall, I prefer gen 3 to gen 4. Gen 3 was the generation I started with, so there is that. Plus, Blaziken means a lot to me for... reasons. Reasons that I really cannot be bothered explaining right now. Also, I prefer Blaziken's design to Infernape's, and the fact is that Blaziken was the first. So Team Blaziken all the way.

In my opinion, Blaziken will always be better because he was my first Pokemon, and his deisgn is awesome too. But I did enjoy a playthrough on Platinum with Infernape, named Chimpchamp.

I thought infernapes design was cool, love torchics design though. At the moment i like blazekins megaform but i can't compare till i see infernapes.

I don't think they'll all get one. Charizard is obvious for one, and if it doesn't get one, I'll be shocked. I'd say the most likely ones are Charizard, Blastoise, Feraligatr, Sceptile, Torterra. I don't think 5th gen starters will even get one, and even having this many and Blaziken seems a bit much.

Competitive battling is a shallow argument in favour of either Pokémon considering everyone still loved the hell out of Blaziken despite it being bumped to UU by Infernape in Gen IV. And whether you love a particular design is all subjective anyway. So this can hardly be called a fan war, because there's absolutely nothing to be warring over because Blaziken is meaningless.

^I'd actually agree... except I had to be the sole person arguing for Blaziken back in 4th gen when the main argument was about how much better the abomination was. So yeah, now that Blaziken has the tools and will only be getting better next generation, I kinda like to talk about it.

However! I think this topic is already played out? I mean, I see no point in continuing it at this point. We all know Blaziken is better in terms of CB, and it's then down to personal taste; Do you like Blaziken, or do you like things made of vomit? :3
