Triple Trouble! Favorite Striaton Gym Leader?

Mine's gotta be Chili. He's full of energy, and he seems like a fun guy to be around. He's also my favorite Fire-type Gym Leader, besides.

I'm the same, Cilan annoys me because of the anime, and cress always looks a bit emo, whereas chili seems quite cool.

Theres not many fire gym leaders and they're all a bit cranky... Chili is cool though :-)

Chili has a devilish appearance, like he would rip my heart out. Anime Cilan is not the real Cilan. I don't like Cress's hairdo. Cilan wins.

He is just perfection. I remember when they revealed him as Ash's travel companion before the BW series started and I was not impressed. And then I realised. Just how amazing he is.

My favourite Cilan... he's cute... lovely... smart... plus... amazing... you think so?... oh yes... he's stunning... kindly... love him! Hug him... when... sleeping... warm and cuddly... spectacular... ravishing...

I just love his little quirks and flaws as a character. In the animé, he was overconfident and spread himself too thinly, so he never really achieved much, and in the games he was shy and seemed rather nonconfrontational. Other characters in the animé are never displayed as having flaws so they seem one-dimensional and boring (i.e. Brock, Iris), but because Cilan had so much to his character he was always interesting to watch. I just feel like he was poorly handled, and not very well developed - he was introduced as a formidable battler, and an A rank Connoisseur, but he was hardly ever shown to work towards being stronger.

And his Pokémon in the animé are all fantastic and sfkjsklfjksljflksjflksjklsjkfjslkjfskl <333.
