Or I can just lift him down. I can only lift one down while maintaining this, but it is viable, as long as they aren't a dark type. For anyone wanting to rest, the corridor branches into two. There's the room where Tanith took your dragon friend, and another room with bedding. Anyone else who needs healing, or wants to learn what i can tell you about the virus, go into the room with the dragon. Tanith, get the fire going. Then i'll want you present. Alexi says that we have one last vial. That's a half dose for each of us. Twelve hours. Don't forget. The Gardevoir thought to the group, then picked Knuckle up in a psy-bubble and drifted him down, as she glided down the path, causing it to disappear behind her.

Tanith, as she was told what to do, nodded, and went into the room where she'd left Reiru. Sounds of splitting wood cracked from the room, and if anyone did choose to go in, they would see Tanith splitting lengths of wood with quick paw strikes.

Kalea chose to go to the room where Reiru had been left, wanting to learn more about the virus, and their 'suicide mission' as Tanith called it. She walked up to the Lucario, and murmured quietly to her "if you or your psychic friends betray us, i'm throwing you to the hoard. Ryu seems to trust you, but blood ties don't always mean loyalty."
"i understand. But betrayal isn't gonna help anyone survive, and that's what i'm interested in. So don't worry about betrayal from my end." Tanith growled, striking the wood block with a savage blow. She knew what the morning would bring, and wasn't looking forward to it.

SirBlaziken

Alright, we'll be there.

Ryu picked up Keira gently and walked to the room with the bedding. He placed the young fox on a bed and make sure that she would be comfortable. Then, the lucario walked into the room as the Blaziken was making death threats. "Kalea, relax. Tanith wouldn't do that. If she did, sister or not, i'd throw her to the hordes personally. That's the kind of day we've had. So, getting off of death threats, let's discuss this virus."

The houndoom walked into the room with Tanith, or rather, limped. His injury from the gunshot was really beginning to catch up with him, and he needed more salve on it to prevent any sort of infection. Slash lay down on some soft straw bedding that seemed rather fresh.

"I came into this room for two reasons... First of all, I'm interested in learning about this doomsday thing a little bit more, and also I heard a little talk of a vaccine. I would love to know a little bit about that," Slash suggested, hopeful that maybe it could be used to change his sister back. He didn't care what it would take, he'd do almost anything to get his sister back to being a functioning pokemon. "As well, I do need this scrape on my shoulder to get some more salve, I'd think. Keira just put some on when the wound was still fresh, and I feel like I need a little touch-up..." Slash thought, looking at the injury. It had stopped bleeding, but it was clear the layer of skin protecting himself was thin and could easily rupture, or even get infected.

Danatales

Jaime yawned a little, nodding down at the Houndoom he'd just ferried across, "Yeah, tell me about it. I feel like I've been walking for years!" Thinking about nice soft bedding in a nice dry place was heavily pleasing to him; while Dana often found solace sleeping on top of him, he had to suffice with cold hard ground and floors for most of their time. Once the Gardevoir who was so kindly helping them out spoke of the branching path up ahead, Jaime looked down at his Ninetales friend, nudging her.
"Hey, I think I'm going to the bedding room. I'm beat. Do you wanna go to the room with Reiru? You can tell me any new facts about the virus later on or something!" He explained his mental plan to Dana, grinning a bit at the end. He wasn't injured or in need of healing, and quite frankly just wanted to lie down for a while. Dana perked up and looked at him.
"Hm....yeah, that sounds okay." she replied, watching Tanith go into the room Reiru was being housed in, "Learning some new lil factoids could be handy." She grinned a little, "And what? You gettin tired, big guy!"
"Hey, I've had to carry others, and walk, and...things! I'm bushed!" Jaime said back, pushing her gently. Dana cackled, before walking to the path she'd chosen to take.
"Whatever, I'll give you to the scoop later. Go get some sleep, sharky."
Jaime watched her walk, and smiled, before getting up and lumbering to the other room, the one with the bedding. He quickly found a spot with some soft straw and flopped down onto it with a loud, pleasured groan. It wasn't the soft sand he especially loved sleeping in, but it would do.

"Yoyoyo, so what's all this about cool new virus facts?" Dana called as she trotted into the room with Tanith and Slash. She shoke out her golden fur and grinned, "We got any ways to beat 'em? Any ways to...you know, not die? That'd be rad." She sat down on a  clump of bedding and itched at her ears with a back leg.

OpalRhea

"Best way to start is with a bit of a history lesson. The virus originated because a group of scientists created it. There are varying views, but for the sake of this conversation being shorter, let's just say that they were acting on orders. Tanith, pass the firewood. This is a story better told in warmth."
Tanith didn't respond, just started building the fire, using Reiru's tail flame to start it.
"There was a team of ten scientists. When the virus escaped from the lab were it was being tested, three died within a week. Stupid gits. The rest spread to other regions, to monitor the progress and state of the virus." All this, the Gardevoir said as she was removing the bandages from Reiru's wounds. She whistled quietly in surprise at the severity of the wounds, before holding her hands over the wound and summoning a small ball of pink energy. Moving her hand closer to the wound, she resumed speaking. "Last anyone knew, only three of the original team were alive. Although I guess it's two now. Any of you who were alive when it first showed up would know that it wasn't quite as aggressive before. It didn't spread so quickly. That's part of how they developed the vaccine. It targets the infected cells. Originally, if the infection wasn't too far along, it would eradicate them. Now the virus has adapted to the point where the best you can do is slow it. A full dose lasts twenty four hours. After that... Well. It's down to willpower." The pink ball sunk into Reiru, and the wounds pulled closed, healing neatly.
"...you mention a team of scientists? I assume they had a leader? Who was it?"
"...You already know that answer. But I'll tell your group anyway. The leader of the scientists, the lovely person who started this all was Ibrahim. You'd know him as Abraham the Xatu. The one who called you to your quest. As Tanith mentioned, you aren't the first group of survivors to come through. Ibrahim had called others too. None of them made it even as far as Unova that we can tell. Now whether he's trying to make amends, or trying to ensure that all who would try to stop it are dead, I couldn't tell you. He's a ruthless lovely person when his mind is set to something, so I'm betting on the later. But, if he really has created a cure that works, then there's a chance you might succeed. But it will be a long road, assuming you all make it past the ocean."
The Gardevoir looked at Tanith, who stepped forward, holding a syringe full of pale blue liquid. "If you see vials of this in the ruins of human buildings, usually Pokemon centers, gather as much as you can. I assume none of you have been infected yet, but it never pays to be too cautious. Again, it will only give you twenty four hours with a full dose. As far as killing the infected, and staying alive. All I can tell you is what you probably already know. Unless they resist it, fire works. Decapitation is the next best method, although if you're more inclined to guns, shooting them through the head is also effective. Always do it twice though, to make sure you actually severed the brain stem. As far as not dying, try to out pace them, and don't get bitten. Gaseous pokemon can also spread it via their gases, so be careful." She continued, even as Tanith stepped closer and injected half of the syringe's contents into the Gardevoir's arm, then went to go do the same to the Gallade.
"now, tell me how Luis came to give you his code. It doesn't have to be the long version, but I'd like to know. He was a good friend."

SirBlaziken

"Fire? Trust me when I say this, we have a little too much of that." Ryu said, leaning against a wall "The code, eh? Well Del was trying to make sure we all met arceus when he jumped out to stall him while we escaped. Luis then told us where to find you and the code, since he likely figured that we may actually be the ones. We'll never know what he was thinking, like I said, he's likely in a better place now."

"So, fire unless they resist, 2 head shots, or decapitation. I can do 2 out of 3 of those." Ryu said. "These blue vials.... they'll be useful if we can find them. If there was a way we could get them back to you, I'd try to find it. No one can teleport, except for Del, and I don't like the odds there."  he continued, "Flying isn't an option, since we only have one flier, and she's incoherent at the moment."

"I swear that I'll die if I have to, but I will get this cure to you 3. It's the least I could do after this." Ryu said.

((Just realised that doomsday is an almost exact parallel of the Flare from the Maze Runner))

Sunny had been stood outside the room where the Gardevoir and the other Lucario were and she caught them talking about how to defeat Doomsday Pokemon. They had said either fire or decapidation. Sunny could do neither of these. She entered the room "What about electricity?" She asked and then clarified "To deal with Doomsday Pokemon?"
She stood just inside the doorway and leant on the wall, waiting for an answer. She wanted to sleep but she wanted to ask the question first.

When Slash heard about the scientists, he immediately knew that Abraham was behind it. He knew there was something wrong with a flying type making them walk all that way. Slash resisted snorting in disgust, so that the psychic type would be able to continue to speak. Calling Abraham ruthless, it all fit into place very well for Slash. He couldn't wait to get to that damn bird's house, and decinigrate his body with a dark pulse.

When Sunny walked in, Slash couldn't help but crack a smile at her reply for the usefulness of electricity. "I'm sure that if you attack with enough of the stuff, you'll end up frying them and making them smoulder... But you have your work cut out for you compared to us fire types," Slash told her, not wanting to entertain the possibility that she may not be able to help. Everyone was useful.

"But, that explain why the virus is progressing, wouldn't it. If it's supposed to be mind control. It wasn't meant to turn the pokemon into savages, but rather into what Abraham and his guys in human clothes would believe to be the final evolutionary stage..." Slash realized, his eyes widening. The implications of having mind control of the unfathomable amounts of pokemon on earth were terrifying. And Abraham's lab... Slash knew it would be a trap.

SirBlaziken

"So to sum up, we're walking into the lab of a mad scientist who's either ready to atone for his crimes, or trying to kill us. But not before fighting for our lives against his mind control test subjects and our deranged, revenge hungry former leader and his mismagius friend. We've lost 2, 3 counting Luis, pokemon already, and the virus is getting stronger. And we've barely made it out of Luminose." Ryu said, "Those scientists were stupid gits, but must be psycho to actually be doing this. So, looks like I fit the bill." the male lucario laughed softly at this.

"Sorry about that, please continue if you have anything else."

Meanwhile, Keira was asleep in the room with bedding. She  was having a dream, no, more like some kind of vision.

Darkness, voices. Crash, bang, boom!

The vulpix was tossing and turning on the bedding then she woke up.

Something big is going to happen.

Keira yawned and went back to sleep.

"don't be so quick to judge the whole group based on the actions of their leader. Most of them were just following orders."
"Alexi, thank you, but it's unnecesary. They've probably already figured out that I was one of the team as well. And Luis. As to the orders, most of us were just following them. Some, like Abraham, wanted to change the world for the worse. Others just wanted to see if it could be done. Luis fit into this category. When the samples proved to work, they were supposed to be destroyed. Someone released them into the lab instead. Fortunately, they did this when the lab was almost unstaffed. Initial casualities were few. In normal circumstances, because it wasn't airborne that we knew of, it would have died unless it got into a wound or was ingested in it's raw form. But someone had been tinkering with it, making it stronger, longer living, and able to seek out viable hosts. They turned it into the Doomsday Virus that you are all familiar with. I repeat. Stupid gits. Houndoom, chew on this. Don't swallow it. I can't heal pulse you, but that should help your wound or wounds. And don't complain about the taste. It's the best I can do for you." She carefully levitated a small pouch over to Slash. "instead of going to Kanto, I would personally recommend only going as far as johto, and trying to find Celebi. However, before you leave Kalos, try to find the mortality duo. They might both be able to offer you some help. When you get to Unova, perhaps trying to find at least one of the swordsmen, and one off the djinn to aid you on your path. Sinnoh, try to find Dialga, Palkia and Darkrai. Giratina might also offer his help. When you get to hoenn, seek the wish granter, and the sky dragon. I don't know how Xerneas and Yvetal can help, but the swordsman can help you clear your way, and the djinn can aid speedy travel. Dialga might be able to either undo what has been done, or send someone back to undo it. Palkia could aid fast travel within his region, sending you through space. And Darkrai can use dreams to show you the true state of affairs, and maybe even the things that occured in the past. I say Darkrai, because this world is a nightmare, and regular dreaming is only really useful for hope now. To look back, you need nightmares. Jirachi may be able to grant you a wish, to change this world for the better. Rayquaza will be able to tell you the state the land is in, and perhaps send fair winds to aid your path. Celebi, if your hearts are sure, and you do wish to change the world, may be able to take you back, to put right what once went wrong. If all of those paths fail, or if Dialga, Jirachi or Celebi cannot help you, only then would I tell you to go to Kanto and face Abraham. Yes it will make your journey longer, but even if you fail, you will be stronger, and more aware of what you face. If you all survive at the end, the world will be better for it. Your charizard friend should wake soon. Her body just needs to recover from the mental strain. If you're hungry, there's a cold room with some meat that you can cook over the fire. Don't disturb the source of the cold. The hold i have on him is weak. He thinks that he is in a cave of ice, awaiting his prey. An old memory, but strong enough to hold him. Also, little Helioisk, if you aim for nerve centers, then yes. The other option is to hit them with Surf, if you know it, then use electric attacks." The Gardevoir said, then started looking into the flames, as if seeking to see something there other than the bleak reality.

Danatales

Dana grinned a little as the usefulness of fire was discussed, "Yeah, that's why I'm talking about." She murmured as she curled up and listened to what the Gardevoir had to say. As she carried on her explanation, though, the Ninetale's face slowly soured.
"Okay, so one second here," She called, twitching a tail, "You're suggesting we just go mosey off and find a real, actual Legendary Pokemon, and be all 'oh yeah hey can you help us out?? I know you're probably really busy being a practical god but we just need a teensy bit of your unholy abilities for a sec. Is that okay??' Psh." She gritted her teeth and narrowed her eyes a bit, "Sounds a little like wishful thinking, mmm?"

SirBlaziken

"So basically, Abraham is the one at fault and then he says he has the cure. Now we ignore that, and go find about half the legends in the world, then go back and stop our resident mad scientist from releasing it into the world? And if that doesn't work, go beat the hell out of him, then? Alright. I thought I was a bit crazy for believing the first story, but this somehow makes more sense. Summing up, we look for legends to get us to Dialga, Jirachi, and Celebi. Then ask those 3 for help. If they can't go to Kanto and then confront Abraham. Got it. Oh, and said pokemon caught in a memory, I have a bleak feeling I know who that is, and if I'm right, we need to tread carefully around it." Ryu said.

Suddenly, he winced in pain. "Well then, now let's just hope Del doesn't find us. From he looks of it, that wasn't his full power. If it wasn't, we're on the highway to hell."

Sunny had nodded as other Pokemon told her about the effectiveness of her electric moves. It made her feel happy to know that she wasn't completely useless and never would be. There would always be some way for her to help, no matter how small. Then, Sunny listened as Ryu said his words. She didn't understand what was going on entirely, she just knew that the Professor who they were trying to find is a bit cuckoo and that they had been told to go find some legendaries. It all sounded a little far fetched and all the talking made Sunny all the more tired. When Ryu finished speaking there was a short silence. Sunny spoke up.
"I don't know about anyone else but I have completely reached my capacity to concentrate. I'm going to sleep. Goodnight." She sighed and left the room for the one where Jaime would be. She curled up on the ground next to him and closed her eyes. All that unconsciousness had obviously worn her out.

SirBlaziken

"Alright, I can fight a little if needed. So, I'll get the meat. Ryu said. He walked around the rooms until he finds the cold room. The lucario walks in. The air was bitter cold and Ryu heard something laughing evilly.

Just ignore it.

He looked around until he found the meat and grabbed some. Then a huge blast of cold rushed towards him.

!

Ryu ran out as the blizzard hit him in the back. The evil laughing continued as Ryu exited the room. He walked back into the room with the fire, his back enveloped in ice. "Alright, here's your ma-meat." said Ryu, still shivering from the ice room. "Wh-when you said it was cold, da-dammit you were sp-spot on."

Keira's dream changes. A bunch of pokemon are in a white room, including the Xatu, Abraham, and the Grininja, Luis. "Let's see what would happen if we did this." said the Xatu, he added something to a petri dish. "Abraham, stop, that's enough." Luis said, and he shoved the Xatu aside. The bird then used air slash on Luis, knocking him out. "I wasn't finished." he simply said. Then continued adding things.

Luis wakes up, just as Abraham is adding one last thing. "No! You fool! Are you trying to kill us all?" said the greninja. The Xatu nods, then adds one last thing. The petri dish glows. "Now! Destroy this planet!" says Abraham. He uses psychic to smash the dish on the ground. "You f****** moron! You've doomed us all!" says Luis. He fired a dark pulse, which Abraham dodged. "Exactly, now, I'll craft a cure, for myself! I'll be the only survivor of this outbreak. The rest of you pokemon are worthless!" said the Xatu.

Keira was like a passenger in this. She gasped. The young fox now knew the truth. Abraham was the one who started everything. He had no intention of helping any pokemon but himself. The Xatu was evil, and now there was no one but her, Ryu and the rest of them to stand in his way. She woke up.

Abraham was a fraud? H-he killed my parents! He killed everyone. Everyone I loved, gone. And who's to stop him? I thought that Abraham was trying to help us! Everything has lied to me!

Keira closed her eyes, crying silently, hoping for the pain of life to fade into a hollow, restless sleep.

~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-

Abraham was a fraud? H-he killed my parents! He killed everyone. Everyone I loved, gone. And who's to stop him? I thought that Abraham was trying to help us! Everything has lied to me!

Ryu heard this thought, and the combination of sadness, despair, and mourning infused in it. Then, the crying. Oh how this killed him ((figuratively of course)). Ryu felt his heart break. Betrayal. Traitors, the lowest of the low.

"From what I feel, there'd better be a special circle of hell for Abraham." Ryu said, just barely loud enough to be heard, but getting louder, and more enraged. His body was warmed by rage, the ice on his back cracked off. "Because as someone once said, no deed goes unpunished, and arceus dammit, if you think this deed will go unpunished, you'd be farther from the truth."

((It isn't godmodding if it's a dream, is it. It's not. C'mon and post you guys.))

While Sunny slept it was not the d-day Pokemon that haunted her dreams.

I am in the HQ. We are about to leave on our journey. All is chaos as the more brutal members of our team pick weapons and eat d-day pokemon. I am meeting and talking with Dana and Jaime. My two friends. My two best friends. My two guardians. Del is there and so are Crash and Smash and Knuckle and Keira and Slash and Reiru. Ryu isn't there. I start to leave, recognising that if we are going to get to Kanto then we need to move as fast as possible. We can't stop around and wait. Some of the group follow, some don't. Suddenly I hear Del, like he is alive in my dream. He is saying words he hasn't said before.
"It's your fault, Sunny. You left me. You left me to die." I shudder. His face looms out the door and follows us down the street we walked down. When I turn around he's in my face "I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!" Then he makes a horrible noise in my face. I scream.

Sunny wakes up screaming too, she sits bolt upright. After that she can't get back to sleep, she sits awake and cries silently.
