Yeah I have issues with ACTUAL IQ tests because I think intelligence is reeeeeally difficult to measure, especially since people have all sorts of different strengths.

That being said, I took this one and got 124. The number sequences didn't make any sense to me so I probably took a hit there.

Proper IQ tests are legit in the sense that they're a great way to measure brain receptiveness but they're in no way, shape or form a full intelligence test (or at least shouldn't be seen as such). You could possibly make an argument that having a higher receptiveness means you'll understand things a lot quicker and would therefore be better placed to develop your intelligence and knowledge over time but there is literally so much more to the brain and intelligence as a concept.

Like, knowing which shape fits into which other one isn't going to help you be better at say emotional intelligence is it? It's that kind of thing that gets missed and it's only say academic intelligence a lot of the time which is looked at as a source of being smart or whatever. So much more to it.

there are supposedly like 9 spheres of iq measuring intraspective intelligence, inter(suffix) intelligence, intellince related to nature, numerical, linguistic and like 2 or 3 others that i cant remember but yeah there's a lot more to it than 'if x equals y rotate the shape 34 degrees clockwise and tell us what shape it is'
