^^ It does look a little like a
smaller version of the Raffles Hotel
. I'd prefer it if gen 7 was set in Hawaii or Spain though. The bird is looking pretty cute aww!
edit: sniped lol

A few other things emerged strengthening the Hawaii theory in the past few days:
1) Masuda took a picture of himself holding some coffee and wearing a 'Hawaii' t-shirt.
2) A few days ago TPC's official English twitter account posted a picture of a Pikachu plushie on a beach. Someone has quite cleverly identified a well-known Hawaiian island in the background:
The island appears to be Manana or 'Rabbit Island' as it is commonly known.

Thanks for the updates. The Singapore theory is losing strength.

And the region will be called Harmona, like my early speculation for what 6Gen's region would be called pre-Kalos.

Hula dancing Gym Leaders, Hula dancing Pokemon, Hula thieves (no offense Sabrina), Luaus, surf, turf, gratuitous bamboo forests, active volcanoes, Uncle Bubbles, steel drums, an old abandoned castle, Honolulu being the biggest city in the game...

^In all fairness, they never specified it was new footage. I'm a bit miffed about it but when it wasn't promised to be completely new footage, I can get over it.
